Hey i am really interested in picking up the ability of playing a mouth harp but i cant seem to get them to work.

I will soon purchase one from you and i was thinking of getting the iron nepal jaw harp (i can only spend 15 pound tops)

But i cant seem to get the jaw harp i purchased in the past to work ): i followd all instructions and videos but nothing. Its one of those "Stereotypical" jaw harps.

Also i was wondering what jaw harp you think would be best for me ( an absolute novice).

I think you will find that, although it is certainly true that Turkey has a long and fine komuz tradition, pinpointing the origin of the instrument is considered impossible, as places as far apart as Scandinavia and Viet Nam have jaw harp traditions that go far far back. Nor is it true to say that the real name is komuz, any more than the real name is Maultrommel, or khomuz, or munnharpe, or đàn môi.
