@993247761 My best friend is South African and this is as much as I know:

The South African language is actually a mix of many different dialects and languages due to the country's history and former colonization. One of those languages is Dutch, and of course English. So the current South African citizen speaks either Afrikaans which includes many Dutch words, and when they speak English, it does in fact sound like, because it primarily is, a mix of English and Dutch accents.
