  • Funny - but enough with the pro mac comments. Macs never had errors like that because you cant do anything that would cause such an error. But don't worry, Ill keep Mac in mind the next time I want to play oregon trail - or pay $2500 for hardware that I could get in a PC for $1100.

  • Not a troll at all. Disliking Microsoft, and theyre surface computer automaticly makes you a Mac user? I'm not a Mac user. Linux all the way.

    And yes, I could throw together a desktop computer that's equivalent in power (processing power, video rendering power, etc) to a Mac for much, much cheaper. Now explain to me, how is that a stupid comment?

    Then try to build a 2.0 GHZ DUAL Woodcrest PC, at the SAME spec as a mac Pro, FOR $1100. I'll just sit here and laugh at you while i wait.

    Oh, but the $2500 Mac Pro has DUAL 2.66 GHZ Woodcrests under the hood! So build a 2.66 DUAL WOODCREST PC to match THAT for $1,100! >:O

  • Everyone's seen the BSOD at one point or another. Maybe not as much in XP or Vista, but definitely in the days of 95 and 98. Kernel panics in Mac OS X are pretty much unheard of in most cases.

  • Are you kidding? I used XP on a temp job four months ago and everytime we booted our Dells, half of them would come up with blue screens. XP might be good at being stable after the boot, but it's the getting there that's the problem. Of course, at home I'm a Mac user.
