@burpo They didn't, the instruments sound identical to the original solely because 13.290 is a subtle change, just enough to make it high enough to have the voice sound feminine. Otherwise, the beat is still a bit higher in the female version. It's not possible to change the pitch of vocals of any song without changing the instruments as well, unless you have separate files for both which is not usually obtainable.

That won't work with every song, their is a little echo in female voices that males don't have and some of their voices don't get it when you up the pitch.
