I love the building, and Zaha. The video is great, but I felt the camera moves were too fast, and edits too jarring. Could be shorter too.

Im not a fan of Hadid's work, but this one really stands out to me. the plan and the interior is exciting, the exterior material is very fitting to the context, and the facade is modest (for her style).

I have not yet visited MAXXI so I cannot judge, but if theres one thing I would criticise is the blandness of the public space.

I would appreciate a response of anyone who has been and thinks otherwise.

@pslopez7 You're right about everything. For the public space, it's not designed as a space open to the public like a square, but it's designed as a room used for outdoor art installations. In fact, the night the space is closed as the museum. You saw the second part of the video too?

I wish people would stop commissioning Hadid, all she designs are BS, ego-driven architecture. The awards should go to her engineers, not her. Anyone can make thoughtlessly drawn up silver blogs and glue them together on a computer.

There are some interesting interior spaces, but honestly, the exterior is really hard on the eyes.

Hadid's parti is all about the plan, and the elevations suffer for it.

@franckyOtedesc Dear Frank., Thanks for taking the time respond. Do you know what panning is? If so, then it is possible to do it more slowly; not for this video but for the next one. . Panning too fast, makes the viewer not being able to see what is being show. . Really different from being there, where the human eye, live, can see stuff much more expertly than any camera. Thankfully, they allowed humans into the building during the filming of this piece. Sadly, in all the architectural excitement, they forgot to allow any art or exhibits into the building. This building is so horribly naive and yet still proudly 'architecture all about architecture'. My instinct as an architect is to cower and brace for the public outcry that is surely building as we give the world buildings like this and every Frank Gehry monster. We're frittering away our public trust.

interesting vedio, coordination with the music and the vedio is not very effective .the video is lil confusing.. may be because u were exited looking at the building . the video doesn't tell wat the building is all about and the flow of the activities it's all mixed up, ur message is not properly conveyed/ direct. well their is always room for improvement.. :)

andando al liceo artistico Pinturicchio che si trova a 20 metri mi sembra logico commentare .

Ci sono entrato e da una grande sensazione di leggerezza e di armonia , un bel gioco di forme e colori , e interessante l' illuminazione .

Anche se fuori è di un grigio deprimente e abbiamo vissuto per tre anni le tremende colate di cemento , interminabili e inesorabili .

Strano che poi sia così leggero .
