thats true, besides any great bands have their bad albums, and i think The Resistance is a great album, the way they handle the music itself is amazing, maybe there arent many "blowing minds riffs" or "dark powerfull solos" but it does have an amazing orchestral arrangement, besides, muse now is in a point where they can even make punk horrible music and people will still like them, cause theyre amazing and dont have anything to prove, anywas this is an AM video and i lovet them too!

they are all amazing...bass player and the drummer are really good. Turner have sucha good voice and the lyrics are really good. A perfect indie group. I used to make covers of them with my band some times. I don't really like the new album. I prefer the others and the demo and the EP...Fucking indie!

@stemunns Ummmm Arctics Monkeys are pretty indie man. They are still signed to Domino and gained most of their fan base through free distribution on the internet.

Muse were never ever indie - they were signed to a major record label, and the their style is progressive rock. Definitely not indie. Dom is a great drummer though!

You're alright dude - any fan of those two bands is a mate of mine! Not a fan of The Resistance however (compared to their older albums), and I absolutely despise the title and the album art. Very disappointed. I think I'm finished with Muse now - but I already miss them so badly!!

Its technically not a genre, but it is associated with a style of music i.e. Arctic Monkeys, The Libertines, etc., which Muse are not.

Anyway, even in the literal meaning of the term Muse are still not indie. They are signed to a major record label. Which was my point all along - not to argue about whether indie exists or not.

yeah,its a fender bronco...Like sort of a mustang type of thing,musicmaster and a bit of strat.Its just got one single coil pickup and im pretty sure they dont make them any more.Hope this helps!
