it is funny, because after Gogean finished her vault she said "i will not medal with this, anyway" and Forminte said "wanna bet?".

I thought Varga should have placed ahead of Gogean, personally. I'm by no means a Gina-hater, but I think she was gifted some individual medals at this particular championships.

Too bad Mo didn't have a more difficult 2nd vault. She could have won a medal.

so sick of Amanar and Gogean winning everything with crappy second vaults......I think they got many medals they didnt deserve on vault. And Gogean on beam with no back tumbling series. Thats a joke

Yeah but their form and execution of the vaults were not good. Anybody else doing it that way got hammered and they never did. Thats all im saying

Mohini's 1 1/2 twisting Yurchenko should have scored higher than Gina Gogean's. Adrienn Varga should have placed ahead of Gogean, overall. I would have given Mohini a medal, even though her start value on the second vault was lower- at least Mohini did the second vault cleanly and wasn't boring and sluggish like Gogean.
