  • Tenacious d LOL

  • help! glovepie is not reading my wiimote presses. if I write a = wiimote.A or wiimote.A = A nothing happens, but it can read my key presses just fine. Wiimote.Rumble = Shift works, but that is pressed on the keyboard. I tried this on my classic controller to and it did not work. Thank you for your time.

  • im gonna use it to play starcraft

  • cool! can you post the code for it?

  • Counter Strike on desctop :)))

  • how do i do make it work i setup ma bletooth

i go on da wiiremote thing it dont work plz help

  • WONDERBOY and TRIBUTE

    yay tenacious d

  • I did this yesterday, it took about 30mins to set up. I'm using glovePIE which makes everything incredibly easy. You can also control the rumble and lights on the wiimote, so maxflamehead is wrong.

  • look at 0:25 NO EVEN ON

  • Cuz it doesn't need to be when using on pc <.<

  • YAAAAA TENACIOUS D TRIBUTE!

  • yea but no matter what it would still try to tell you the battery power...

  • *Sigh*

You're wrong, my video clearly shows no LEDs on, and the wiimote is controlling the screen.

  • how the hell did you do taht.....if the fricken wiimote wasent even on?........

  • It's not a Wii it doesn't light up the LEDs do indicate what player the wiimote is on.

    It's very much on.

  • wt soft wear did u use

  • Any idea why WiiNRemote doesn't work with full screen stuff? Mouse tracking, that is. Buttons work fine.

  • If it's a game then it'll be because games map mouses differently, since they have to always be in the centre of the screen.

    Else I don't know sorry :(

  • wow... controlling music with a wiimote. i'm so buying a wii now instead of a simple remote control

  • If you are trying to be sarcy, some of us already own a Wii, and are therefore just exploiting it to its full potential.

Besides this does so much more than a remote control ever could, motion sensing anyone?

  • I know it's much more than a remote controller... That's why I found it funny to use it just as a remote controller. You are not exploiting to it's full potential, you just mapped the buttons to media functions.

  • Yeah I'd love to do stuff like ipod style click wheel scrolling / volume stuff. That'd be cool.

Hmmm... that might be a fun first project for learning programming languages...

  • wow... controlling music with a wiimote. i'm so buying a wii now instead of a simple remote control

  • You could most definatly have never picked a better cd to test the wiimote with ... unless it was flight of the conchords then maybe

  • Haha, thanks :P

  • tenacious d!

  • I agree with your comment about FPS playability using the Wiimote. Who the hell would use a wiimote over a mouse & remain happy! Roll on the day Glovepie auto executes a script according to whichever window is on top at the time (i.e Firefox, media player, etc) so you don't have to load each script individually, it will auto detect which application is being used and load the appropriate script to function in that program. Nice video BTW.

  • You might be interested to know someone made a Glovepie script for the Wii GH3 controller,

recently I've been messing about in Frets on Fire with my GH3 controller, great fun :)

  • that could work with ubs wires?

  • if you mean USB wires, yeah people use 360 controllers and even the orginal Xbox controllers on PCs all the time (Xbox controllers are just a different shaped USB port, a bit of soldering and you can use them on a PC!)

  • Great vid. Nice angle, we can see the actions (unlike other vids like this one)

  • how did u set it up and all that!? pls tell me!! e-mail RohanS882 at hotmail
