So I just went to the AMD website and it says their headquarters is in California. Not a word about Germany that I could find.

@airwolf100 I just don't under stand why you would get a Intel Processor they make rip off budget CPU's like the i3 and i5 and you can get better for cheaper with a longer warranty, and the socket gets replaced every 10 minutes so you have to replace your motherboard, and if you want the 990X you could get a server motherboard and dual AMD opteron 16 core processors which rape the 990x and its cheaper.

I LOVE MY PHENOM II X6 1100T BE... My first computer was a Intel, I had a bad experience with it. Then I discovered AMD Athlon X2 6000+ ... I loved it, never left me down. Now I got my Ph. X6 1100T with 3,3Ghz and possible to run at 3,7Ghz (I don't need it yet) and I never had a problem like I had with Intel (overheating, lagging after couple of hours playing)...

I am 101% AMD, thanks for existing!

@Herrminha haha same here: started with a athlonXP 2200+. Then just like you a 3,1 dual core athlon64 x2 6000+ (still being used today)

Now I have a Phenom II X6 1090T (same chip as 1100T, only standard at 3,2 instead of 3,3) running stable on 3,6 ghz by only increasing the multiplier. Still good temperatures, even with standard cooling.
