  • its a girl not a boy. its obvious its full grown and it has no antlers

  • looks like my dog

  • Well considering his size,he's probably a little over 1yr old in this video. His antlers aren't even in yet so he's definitely really young. But he's so cute!<3

  • Some diseases make wildlife animals lose their fear of humans, for example rabies. When I was younger, we had some cases of rabies in the nearby area. I was taught, if I see a wild animal that does not the usual shortening reaction, DO NOT TOUCH IT, IT MIGHT BE INFECTED WITH RABIES!!!!!! I was astonished, that it was not mentioned on the english wiki page does not mention this symptom, but continental ones like French, German etc. do. Maybe it's because rabies does not exist in GB.

  • It's not he thinks he's a dog. Thats a girl dear hun ... :/

  • @tinynarutowolfgirl its not a doe it is a buck a button buck or he shed his antlers looks small so im going with button buck you can see the knobs on top of his head

  • @RedNecked717 LMFAO!!!!!!! I was thinking the same thing.

  • she looks sick ... serioulsy..

  • Where do u live ???

  • cool, one of my old old friends her dad was a trapper (or rescuer I don't remember, all i remember is a skunk in a cage) and they found a baby deer one day and raised him till he was old enough to be released into the wild.

  • i want a pet deer

  • Its a girl no antlers unless its young

  • Aww~ I want to pet the cute deer too!

  • Oh look dear, it's a deer.

  • better watch, looks like he might have a llittle mange. he can give it to your pets if you pet both

  • LOL the difference between a woman'a gentle touch and a gruff ol' man's rough pat. The deer was like, "WTF!"

  • I hunt with semi-automatics and kill any/everything in site. I don't give a FUCK.

  • @DejectedDonkey People like you should be shot and killed!

  • @Tactic70 Why? I'm at the top of the food chain and if I want to stay at the top I have to annihilate the competition. Plain and simple.

  • @DejectedDonkey "Annihilate the competition"? What competition do you have with dear? You're probably fat white trash, anyway. You could use some.

  • @wasp9 What competition do you have with spelling?

  • I agree good ppl. god bless

  • very cool wish i had a pet deer

  • thats nice healthy buck. I'd call someone to take it and put it in a herd safe from hunters and such, maybe move it to a protected reserve?

  • How was that BBQ?

  • awwwwwww ;w;

  • i agree with anyone wo says he's sick. but u have to be careful he has extreamly strong legs and if he get's threathend he might kick u. Imagain a horse kicking u

  • I bet when she was patting the deer, she was tenderizing the meat.

  • It's probably sick because why would it be there if it wasn't cause normally it runs away.

  • aaaaaw

  • how does deer taste? would like to try eating them one day

  • @ajgurung7

First you have to kill one. If you're up to that. Deer has a wild taste to it. But I aways soaked mine in salt water in the frige for 24 hrs. Turn it so often. Then rinse it good. Cook it like you would beef. Since deer is leaner than beef, you might want to tenderize it. Their are wildlife recipes you can try. U will be thinning the herd. Cutting down on crop damage, car accidents, disease. Yes, that includes rabies. Deer can get it.

  • @ajgurung7

I tried vinicent meat slwo cooked in a pot of boiling water mixed in with tons of mint leaves.

After cookign is done eat and YUMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YUMMY!

  • @inachu ...can you at least learn to spell first?

  • @blainelhoward

    dey duk ehr jawbs!

  • So, do you have any updates on this deer?

  • i wish i had a deer for a dog :C

  • he is a young buck

  • I just think the difference between how a woman pets her, and how a man pets her is very interesting :p

  • Yes they are very cute but the best part is they are tasty.

  • We had a deer like this that lived at our lakehouse for many years when I was a child. We named him and put a big red collar on him with a jingle bell so everyone in the area could recognize, feed, pet and visit him. Everyone loved him... Until one spring we found his collar hanging on a fence with a note that said, "Thanks, he'll make great sausage." Bastards!

  • @PennyDreadfuI

This story cannot be true. Wow! That's horrible!

  • @wifey231 It's true! His name was Buddy and it happened in Bonanza Beach on Lake Buchanan in Texas. :) Maybe one day I'll tell you about my Easter rabbit named Cotton...

  • bring it in the house LMFAO

  • Kind of looks like a dog LOL

  • 0:57 nice prime piece of meat ;)

  • that deer is a badass

  • Press 7 for sound of orgasm.

  • 12 gauge to the head on him dude he prob got rabys or some shit like that why els would it be just chilling in your yard or if it is domesticated why is it not with the people that owned it

  • @atvking04032 rednecks...

  • @atvking04032 if it as rabies it foams out the mouth so no it has no rabies

  • @atvking04032 Deer don't get rabies. Only meat eaters get rabies.

  • @assilembrandywine any warm blooded mammel can get rabies.

  • @atvking04032 Wow, you sound really knowledgeable, or some shit like that, dog.

  • @atvking04032 Doesn't look rabid to me. Maybe somebody had it as a baby and released it back into the wild.

  • aw sweet baby :D

  • that is too cool :)

  • It actually starts smiling at 0:18 to 0:19!

  • 1:05... wtf.

  • totally cute!!lucky people!

  • She was probably raised by someone and she just wandered away. If you ever find one again, you can contact wildlife and they can put a special collar or leg band on them indicating to hunters that they're 'domesticated' and they won't be killed. It's not 100% because some hunters don't care but at least it's an indicator. Not all wildlife services will do it but it's something to look into.

  • @ShinigamiRo1 Great idea. I've heard that deer are naturally quite loving and, once they learn to like humans, they can't really become wild again. I was watching this worrying that someone might abuse its trust or kill it.

  • @ShinigamiRo1 Actually that depends on the state. In Virginia for example they destroy domesticated deer because they're a danger to the public.

  • @magicstix0r - I did not know that, thank you. That's why I said not all wild life services do that because it does vary state to state.

  • @ShinigamiRo1 its a boy not a girl you can tell from the lumps on its head where its antlers will grow in

  • @ShinigamiRo1 for one time animal services are useful arnt you not suppose to shoot a girl dear anyways

  • watch when it comes to rutting season male deer can get mean!! my dad leanred the hard way he has the scars

  • they are illegal to keep as pets

  • Cut your grass xD

  • deer always run from me when i get like 20 feet to close , lol . and to the 4 haters that dislike , ur just jelly that a deer has never let u pet it !

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU WERE LIKE "BITE THE BITCH!.".

  • so peaceful the deer.

  • Actually I see alot of deers when I go out to san antonio,TX. The deer seen in this video is actually female. the male deer have antlers. I loved the video by the way! I have never gotten that close to a deer unless it were dead! :)

  • It must be sick you never know :/

  • I dont care how far out in the wood I am, you could never get me to wear those pajama bottoms dude!

  • @HillbillyRockstar100 right?! them things wre horrible. i didnt know if it was a guy or girl. lmfao

  • young one - maybe someone has shot his mother and he's looking now for protection...

  • Im 12 and i got a doe and fawn to trust me once i was copying a deer call from a hunting game and i called it for a while and she came down the hill closer to me wagging her tail and her ears twitching and nodding her head and then she came like 2 inches to me Is that normale?

  • It would be funny if it barked XD

  • why does he think he is a dog?

  • it's two pppl petting a deer it's cute alright? stop making this more then it needs to be It's a very cute video and they shared it with you be happy you prudes!!!

  • Comment removed

  • You have rabies!!!! Humans carry more bacterias and diseases than this dog/deer has...Stop the paranoia!

  • I hope the deer is well...I was very moved by your kindness...As to all of the negative responses, consider the individuals!!!! No rabies you moron, you read up....Only problem with the deer is the human beings that will shoot them down...And yes, they can be dangerous when in rut, and while crossing a highway, but wether it's tame or not this will happen anyhow!!! DAHHHH!

  • i say put it in a pot a make some stew

  • @josecastillonyc this is a animal that likes humans i think people like you need 2 be shot on site for that kind of behavior people like you are horriable

  • @XxCoDOPSxX come talk to me after one of these jump in front of your car while driving with your love ones..Tell me how nice they look when they are hanging on your windshield with one of their antlers pierced thruoght your chest or head....now what's the difference between killing a cow for burgers, a chicken for soup and a deer for stew?......IT'S ALL THE SAME THING IT'S MEAT !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @josecastillonyc if you kill a deer when its like that its mean but if you go hunting than its fun!

  • we shouldn't tame wildlife get a life this is a pet!!!

  • @paulaAbolton thank you i know it is such apet cause i got one.

  • does that mean that there's some sort of health problem with him/?

  • Thank you for your kind soul you guys and showing kindness to the animal. Is the animal ok?

  • que lindo animal!

  • el bambi esta solo

  • He definitely had to have been a pet. What a sweetie.

  • He was just guarding your house and your kinfolk!

  • looks like he's was someones pet deer.. Wild Deers are like that with people.. He may have been some ones pet at one time and got loose and decided to roam someplace safe

  • the deer was most likely hand fed and was used to people, it doesn't look beat up or acting like it has any kind of rabies, the doe looks healthy

  • i would pet a deer

  • who the fuck would just pet a deer? Thats so dangerous. She may have 'dumb rabies'. Read up on it. It'd explain why she was so docile.

  • @Sandsibscrazy i would

  • @worm1426 Thank you so much for telling me that. Now I can sleep at night knowing that more idiots would touch a random deer. -.-

  • @Sandsibscrazy its actually a he cause on the top of his head you can see buds comin out of his head and really its a pet deer cause i have one and therer great pets just like a dog .

  • @gavinthegamekiller wow how do u know that?

  • @Sandsibscrazy how do you now its not?

  • @gavinthegamekiller Look, I'm just using common sense when it comes to an animal. Please stop responding to my comment, ecpecially so immaturely. Like I said, you have to practice caution when it comes to wild life.

  • @Sandsibscrazy It CAN be dangerous IF people are not careful. But rabies is not what I worried. After all, a lot of animals can carry rabies. What I would worry is Ixodes scapularis, also known as dear tick. It can transmit to human a disease known as B. burgorferi which is deadly.

Btw, I think that these people petting that deer is adorable. But if anyone really wants to pet a deer, I suggest to take your own risk. After petting it, wash your hands really well with soap.

  • Adorable is right. Except I think that "he" is a "she".

  • @Abobojo

Only male deer have antlers. This one has the "beginings" of antlers. Just sayin'.

  • @nytransplnt Oh, I thought that males had those spots on their backs. This one did'nt appear to. Is that not true?

  • @Abobojo

    Hi again,

No. All fawns are born with spots—male or female. The spots provide camouflage for the fawns as they grow. They loose these spots as they mature.

Although this is a young male deer, it is no longer a fawn. You can see its antlers are just beginning to come in. Female deer never have antlers.

Buck are mature male deer, and a doe is a mature female.

  • @nytransplnt FUN FACT: a young male fawn will have neat lined spots on his back and a young female fawn will have scattered spots

  • when animals show no fear of people it beacause of the onset of rabies

  • @sarahgoldfish21 Not all the time. could have been raised around humans

  • this deer is used to people someone loved him

  • Haha that's so awesome. I wish I could experience something like that.

  • is that a button buck looks like lil bumps on his/her head

  • Docile deer. It is refreshing to see that some people will NOT just kill a deer for the sake of killing. Where we get our killing instinct is of no value, the point is that peace is possible. Survival yes, but there are alternatives to killing for the sake of killing.

  • he atack cats ?

  • Right. Pet the fawn and the mother doesn't come back. Deer don't tolerate the smell of humans. Now I hope you feed the fawn and look after her.

  • @tonadachi Its a full grown deer.

  • You guys ever heard of Lime Disease? Lol that is a sweet dear though, dumb, but sweet.

  • @MrMusicboy5000 Lime disease is carried by ticks not deer

  • Uhm, its because people keep feeding and petting him that makes him fearless of people. In a perfect world, we really all could exist in peace, but there are too many horrible and evil people out there that will kill this deer, its only fair that it knows fight or flight.

  • I was waiting for it to attack lol

  • bad bambi bad

  • Smack that deer. ;P

  • @TheMudding Die in a fire.

  • @proGaimz Nah, too gentle.

Some good 'ol burning acid should do trick of making him die from pain alone.

  • @lunei66 Yeah, even better.

  • ahhh what a cute animal. he has adopted you people. you seem to care for him. ahhh so cute

  • LOL In the description "The deer thinks he is a dog...." only a dog if you treat him like one tho.

Cute... I don't know very much about Deer, but I know that some people have raised Doe after taking steps to make sure the deer is free of any parasites.

  • i pretty sure thats a she not a he. (she dont have antlers) lol

  • @tannerhoffinator See The Nubs On The Deer's Head? Its Growing Them.

  • @tannerhoffinator you don't see the nubs on its head he is young they will grow they are not born with them

  • @tannerhoffinator hes a button buck.

  • @tannerhoffinator Deer shed them then grow em back but idk what it is :)

  • 0:49 I want those same pants! Nice video of the deer.

  • 41 deer like this video

  • Is that deer a male . . looks like it has buds! HAHA wait for the antlers to see if its a dog then xD . . A smaller buck with antlers got close to me. I headed towards it and there were other deer there but they left and the small buck stayed there and was still laying down and after i slowly got to 8ft from it stood up, i stopped and i came towards me :) It was watching my cell cause thats all i had and was trying to sniff it but after it got 4-5ft from it took off. I<3animals. Great video!

  • I'm thinkin he may have been hit by a car

  • @soulsista1220, maybe, maybe not, deer are smart!

In 1969 I went hunting in St. Helen, Michigan and there was a doe with a yearling that hung out at the general store and rifle range that was across the street where everybody bought their ammo and went across the street to sight their guns in!

The deer would never leave that area durring hunting season in daylight hours, it figured out it was safe there because that was the only place bobody shot at it!

  • @MoonshineMethExpress Thats funny. I had to move to the country to realize deer are a lot smarter than people think

  • @soulsista1220, they get real stupid once a year durring the rut (mating season), much like teenage boys!

  • How come he's not trying to get away? Strange. But cute

  • he's dont think hes a dog... hes just domesticated

  • wheres his mom bambi ;)

  • that's not normal.....was the deer injured or something?

  • I wanna pet deer. :(

  • @CarolynandGinny lol so ur saying you want Rabies LOL

  • @nafissjarrell Yup. Cuz every deer in the world has rabies. You know how it is...

  • @CarolynandGinny Lol... Let me know when you turn into a Human beast that drinks the Human blood and eat the human brain LOL.. Just Joking

  • Too cool! Post more!

  • how bout a follow up video of him as a roast for thanks giving ;p...jk how bout him as a monsterous buck

  • i bet any one 10 bucks that the deer is acuttly a dog

  • @kidkow2 ok let's bet

  • Lovely

    : )

  • looks .like a well nice place to live where is this?

  • what do you expect? you have a pot of food/water right there for it! your so lucky! my kids would love that.

  • Kweimern ur retarded. The deer is so adorable. It doesn't think it's a dog. It just got use to people and uses them for food LOL
