how did you arrive at the location u did to take your depth measurement?....u never fully explained how to use the width gauge!.good video ..but am just left wondering how u used the width gauge?..what if the tyre had been driven over inflated! & the centre was bald as a coots head!..would the use of the width gauge to determine the location you arrived at to take your initial measurement still be applicable? ..the law says min depth in any of the 75% middle area must be more not less than 1.6mm
