  • Is that a New Bright body on the scx10 ?

Love the scale look you made off it !!!

  • @2shitty1

ahhh. thanks bro. the body/shell came off an old radioshack rc.

  • does the cc01 come with the plastic rear diff lockers?

  • @ALEXSUPERCROS99

    yes it does.

  • Thanks you for reply, I also like your Landrover discovery thats what I'm planning to this cr01 That I'm going to buy :)

  • @Artie6937

you got it bro. The Discovery is a great shell/body. =]

  • you said you have never taken the highlift outside? hows come man? Surely you dont buy these things to build and shelf? :o

  • @Bigtinycrawler

lol. its true. i have a blue tundra that is in a ton of my videos. check them out when you get a chance. the white tundra is a shelf queen. by default mostly cause i have many scalers to film. =] =]

  • @atltybo i have to bash hell out of my trucks so i cant imagine that but your trucks are nice so keep it up! peace!

  • @Bigtinycrawler

believe it or not... i have bashers that get taken to hell and back too bro. i just don't know how to film it and make it look cool. there are guys like swedishrc that just take bashing to another level. =]

  • Great vid, I want to get either cr01 or scx10 which one has performance out the two off road

  • @Artie6937

performance.... Both are very capable. the CR01 has a bit of an edge cause they run 2.2. bigger wheels and tires give it better ground clearanace.

  • great video man was wondering about these four, I like the cc01 and how scale it is but got me an scx10 with a tamiya defender 90 body on it so I can get best of both worlds! thanks!

  • @tilligetbig

thats great. scx-10 chassis is wonderful. =]

  • Awesome clip I wanted to place a clod body on the tundra high lift with a four link or three link suspension system with long travel shocks do you think it would be good on the trail without the leaf springs

  • @stummshine

i have a highlift tundra 4linked and it's ok. just a heavy rig and hard to dial the suspension in.

  • "I call it a skate board" lol

  • @briansmobile1 ...=] thanks for watching bro.

  • does the tymia body fit the scx 10 hanchos wheel base?

  • @ChaosGeneral1 ...I put the hilux body on the scx-10 and it fit great. I have a video of it. check it out. =]

  • im debating between the SCX10 or the CC01, im after a scale build... what do u prefer?!

  • @xXShadowRejectsXx ... well friend. both chassis are great for building. both are really scale too. I guess...if you want performance? Get the SCX-10. Its awesome. Will go over and through just about anything and look good doing it too. I love my CC-01's. They are very capable too but if you were to put them side by side performance wise... SCX-10 wins. Check out my Hummer H2 SCX-10 in my latest video. Check out my Land Rover LR3 CC-01 in my beach video. You won't go wrong with either. =]

  • @atltybo thanks man :D

  • @xXShadowRejectsXx The CC-01 has independent suspension in the front while the SCX-10 has a solid front axle. the CC-01 has much less travel in the front and hence rolls over more easily. So it depends on what you are looking for. If you want to build something like a Pajero or similarly set up vehicle then the CC-01 is the go for scale performance. If you are looking for pure performance go the SCX10.

  • @flybar1000... lol. i know right.

  • @flybar1000 ...yeah I love the SCX-10. I drive them more than any rig I have. agreed with you. those jerks that took our tax money are now giving themselves millions in bonus money.

  • @flybar1000 ... for sure. Highlift can't compete on the trails. Still love them anyways.

  • Love it how people just get all defensive lol all are great looking! but out of all of them the Tundra and the cc-01 look the most like a real rig, again nice rigs man :) I got the tundra and the cc-01 and both are a blast! :)

  • @TheRcmaniac78 ... I know right. I love this hobby. :) thanks for commenting friend. :)

  • How is the tundra more scale? Its transmission drags on the ground. Also what truck besides mabe an f650 has a straight beam frame, the scx10 has a c-channel frame like most trucks. Scx10 beats tundra at scale

  • @AxialRacer777 ... Wow, easy friend. First let me start with all the anger in your text. Please avert it elsewhere. Secondly, let me clarify... the whole rig "looks" more scale. The tundras body is resin, not lexan. The tundras light buckets, running boards, leaf springs, dampeners etc. LOOK more scale. I made this for fun and it was just my opinion and that's all it is. BTW, I'm a huge AXIAL fan. I talk them up all the time.

  • dude nice rigs!

  • @chriss834 ... Thanks for the comment bro.

  • @atltybo no prob. how do you like your cr01 so far? i might want to get one used on ebay soon :)

  • @chriss834 ...I love it. The land cruiser hasn't been driven but I have a video of my jeep CR01. Check it out when you get a chance. The CR01 is a much better rock crawler than people give it credit for. If you like a more scale look check out my CC01 rigs.

  • @atltybo awesome! will do.... have you seen the new axial wraith? it looks pretty sweet! i think i might get that considering that i am a basher/racer who wants to get into crawling

  • @chriss834 ...yes I have. It looks great. I think I would compare it to the summit. I have one on order. It should get here in mid May. :)

  • @atltybo dude sweet! i need to sell some stuff before i can get one.... also the summit is cool but it sucks at crawling... cant wait to see more about the wraith!

  • @chriss834 ... Yeah. I've had the summit over two years. It was cool concept. I know what traxxas was thinking. It's just not scale enough to be a crawler. :) now the wraith is scale and a basher in one. That's why I'm exited bout it. :}

  • @atltybo haha yeah me too! i want it. i wonder if it would be a good idea to put a mamba or a vxl in the wraith...

  • @chriss834 ... Good question. Probably could make it work.

  • @atltybo that might be a little to much power haha but there are those crazy people who are already planning it lol

  • @chriss834 ... I'm sure there are. :) I like the scale look of the wraith and probably use it more for crawling.

  • @atltybo ill probably use it for both crawling and bashing so ill think ill keep it stock or ill throw my old water prof xl5 electronics from my slash into it

  • @chriss834 ...have you seen the video of the wraith here on YT. Looks like it has some good speed.

  • @atltybo yep saw all of them... and yea the speeds are pritty fast for a half crawler lol

  • thank you good video!

  • @oskarabr75 ... glad you liked it. thanks for looking. :)

  • was thinking of a hilux high lift but now scx10 + tamiya hilux cab is on its way. custom build

  • @450hp202turbo ... now that sounds like fun. love building these things. the highlift chassis is more scale. it comes with a three speed tranmission that I think you either love it or hate it. you can't go wrong with either. hope this helped.

  • @atltybo yep good video . lovely trucks you have .

  • That tundra is bad ass! :) keep the vids rollin bro.

  • @Tommyplumbr ... Thanks man. I spent a lot of time on that thing.

  • Wicked rigs!!

  • @swas79 ... Thankyou. It's a great hobby.

  • Hi friend realy nice video the best reviev i ever seen!!!keep it up-!

  • @csulik123 ... thanks bro. hope it helps. makes you want an Axial SCX-10 now huh. : )
