What about Eve? The thing is in PE2 you it was revealed that even though a clone, Eve was/is more Aya Brea than Aya herself is. Aya always had a part of Maya in her, but the new Eve was based ONLY on Aya's DNA.

The wedding scene if actually a cutscene from the game might suggest that either it is Eve in the wedding dress and Aya being insane, or it is Eve being insane (believing she was the original Aya) and shooting at her "mother".

I was wondering about Eve myself, I hope theyre don't retcon her. I like the idea of her being Aya's little sister but maybe theyve spared her and shes off at school/college whilst Aya deals with all this. Either way I'm so pleased theyre making this game, the trailers look beautiful and it really feels like it has the old atmosphere. The plot with Kyle looks like it might be very intense.

I hope they bring back the gameplay from part 1 and add more to it to make it even more complex and fun. Part 2 was okay but i'm sure most people at the time were like like, "oh square, why must you try to be like Resident Evil dammit?!" 2 was still fun though and has 2 of my favorite cutscenes from games of all time. The "shower scene" and the one where the ninja/cyborg/clone is rushing at her and then... well you know if you played it what happens and that it was an awesome scene. :)

I read that this ISN'T the official 3rd part of Parasite Eve. That's why it's only called The Third Birthday. It's a spin off. I also read somewhere where they are already planning on making an offical Parasite Eve 3 but not much info on that yet. Oh wells I'm still happy with this. As long as they haven't forgotten about Aya ^_^

Then I played kh and it was ok at first with a few plot holes, then more plot holes and then they just ruined my fav characters, and I can't see them the same way anymore. Now I see them and it makes me just wanna shake my head in disappointment.

@Mounce2 Have you actually played it yet? I decided to give it a try so I ordered the Japanese version first and played for awhile. I actually like it. It's not my favorite but I don't think it's bad =P Plus, it's good to hear the characters actually speaking instead of just text. The battle system is fine to me and I like the new concept. People seem to forget this isn't a sequel to the 2nd game, it's a spinoff so you can't treat it like the other games since it's completely different.

If you're going to complain about things in the game, complain about the battle system, storyline because Aya's image has been sexualized since Day 1.

Last year I bought Parasite Eve 1 the black label version for like $30 brand new! Today it's going for over $200 on Amazon. This game is a lost treasure and hopefully they release the first two PE games for the newer generation like the did with Metal Gear.
