  • do you need a zunne music pass for marketplace?/downloading apps

  • go to my channel to keep your zune pass songs look in my channel comments

  • Or.. you could listen to any music playing website if you have wifi.. Also, downloading the songs from online is a better option. I still love the Zune HD and own one, it's just that the point they're trying to make isn't really valid.

  • Or just use beemp3.com

  • My Queston is Why are all the Great Songs BLock off on Zune??? Can any1 help i just paid 14.99 today and search like aerosmith i wanted to listening to Dream on or Johnny Cash Hurt or Metalicca but its all Block off there Songs ??? WTF i mean serously Are you Joking

Can any1 help me Ps i downloaded Zune on my Xbox 360

  • Zune FTW!!!

  • Wait a sec... Do you need wifi to play a song from your zune from zune pass?

  • hy cant I buy any song I ant.......telling me I need zune pass.....LAME...

  • For people who don't understand, think of it this way, you pay $15 a month for 10 songs each month (which counts for $10 of the $15),

while at the same time listen to a radio that you control anywhere with wifi for the other $5.. At first i thought it was dumb but it's pretty cool

  • it sucks that you can only keep ten a month (but that is pretty much what you would get from buying an entire album..so not too bad in that light). anyway, if i find a song that i like but dont have enough credit to download, thn i come to youtube, find the same song, download it and add it to zune...very simple..already have hundreds of songs with this method. i use the zune pass primaily to find wht i do like and thn download them here :)

  • @vg2290 think of it this way you pay $10 for the 10 songs each month, and you pay $5 for unlimited music

  • I am not paying fucking 15$ for 10 songs to keep and lose all of them if I stop paying

    Zune- Homosexual

    Apple-Bisexual

  • Guys, its not that difficult. Here is what it is. 14.99$. 10 songs you get saved to your zune forever. Unlimited songs on your zune AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE SUBSCRIPTION. As soon as you stop paying the monthly 14.99$ those songs (that arent the 10 already permanently saved on your zune) ARE DELETED. It all depends on your subscription. And also, you can just get mp3's already on your computer and put it on your zune if you dont want to make a monthly subscription.

  • can you just copy the files and save them somewhere else? that way when the subscription is over you dont lose the song

  • It's DRMed. So no. But I think I heard that if you burn the songs to a cd, it removes the DRM.

  • one question. while you have the subscription, the songs are on your zune, not just being played from the marketplace. so like if ur at a place without wifi, u still have the songs?

  • @ shlongy14.....Yup you can listen to them anytime, anywhere. I was scared of the same thing before i got a zune pass but its basically the same thing as if you were to buy it.

  • Junkman's got it. It's like paying five dollars a month for unlimited music (the other ten buys you 10 permanent songs)

  • @bubzy333 Hey thats a great way to put it!

  • You guys don't get it. You can have the songs for however long your subscription is on your Zune. But EVERY month you can KEEP 10 forever without the subscription.

  • @Junkman1100 thanks for that. That confused me for a bit.

  • @Junkman1100 so say u stop the subscription. how are they going to take the songs back? like the next time u sync or something? and what if u download all those songs and ur a day late on updating the sub? do u lose them ALL???

  • @Junkman1100 Hey my Question to you is i just sign up or i should say gave Zune Pass a Shot on my XBox 360 but not on my Computer right But my Question to you is Why is Some Songs Like Blocked or i can't played them ???

For instance i wanted to listen to aerosmith Dream on or Johnny Cash Hurt and last some Metalica But why are some of there Great hits Blocked ?? And some aren't?? can you answer me that one question

  • You're an idiot you keep all the music as long as you subscribe. You keep ten as an added bonus. I have an itunes and zune marketplace account. The zune service is A LOT better.

  • lol. idiot, think next time before you try and be an apple fanboy.

  • That computer looks like a MacBook Air!

  • If you do the math it is 1.50 a song but, since you can stream all songs you want while active, Does it get any better than that?, most desirable iTunes songs are 1.25 each so that's just 25 cents more, I don't think this is a bad deal at all. Now, you can subscribe and unsubcribe at will so that's great. You can still add your existing song collection to the Zune by the way and get non DRM files from other supliers too.

  • Limewire FTW!!!

  • so the whole "10 songs" is kind of rediculous. Is zune HD compatible with limewire? Ive never owned a zune but I want to buy the HD. Although I might just stick with my iTouch if you only get ten songs a month...

  • The Zune HD supports these audio formats: WMA, MP3, AAC and others. So I'm sure you can find these formats in limewire. :/

  • You get ten songs a month - PLUS unlimited listening to EVERY song they have.

  • @mrgeo20 you can keep the songs you download however long you keep subscribed. The 10 songs comes in after you cancel your subscription.

  • @mrgeo20 i think you get unlimited songs to listen to and download but the songs aren't actually yours, you get to choose 10 songs to keep forever.

  • You know you can buy albums for 5 dollars in iTunes that has 10-15 songs. 14.99 dollars and only let's you keep 10 songs at the end of the month is not cool.

  • Does iTunes also let you listen to as much music as you want, unlimited, for the entire month?

    Nope.

  • Yeah...so does Zune. Not seeing your point.

  • it says that it lets you keep 10 of the songs you downloaded

  • @gearlive So can you store store all the music on you computer permanently along with the 10 songs? For example, windows media or others.

  • @bmdmaloclm itunes you buy the song. but zune pass is better. woth $14.99 with itunes you get what 15 songs. with zune pass you get 10 songs, plus you can download hundreds of songs and listen to them all you want as long as you keep paying the subscription.

  • @bmdmaloclm If you think Zune pass is stupid you can just buy the songs separately, you ignorant idiot.

  • @irwin770 you don't loose those song you keep em as long as you keep paying the subscription. zune pass is better in my mind. cause my choice in music changes so i odnt waste money on buying the songs. Plus if you don't want to download the song or album you can play it right thru the marketplace without downloading them.

  • The Zune Pass is like an all-you-can-eat buffet! Discover and listen to all the bands and artists your heart desires. I mean come on guys unlimited music for $14.99!

  • What's wrong with keeping 10 songs, and having unlimited access to whatever you want? If you cancel after a year, you have 120 songs.

What do you get to keep if you cancel your cable TV after a year?

  • cool
