I watched the US version of Life on Mars on the plane a few weeks ago. Harvey Keitel (yes, think Pulp Fiction) plays Gene, and Chrissy (is that his name, out of the Sopranos, the nephew), plays Ray. Man has he put weight on for the role. Annie is a blond. Cute, but not as innocent as 'our' Annie. Sam was good. Interesting, but of course the original is always the best. Fire up the flip chart.

Just watched the new episode in series 2 that was on tonight BBC1 . BLOODY FANTASTIC. Music was even better Gene hunt was his normal outstanding self but i think Bolly Knickers has aged some what from series one. And i prefered her longer 80's style perm she used to have. But all in all best show on British TV in years.
