I saw Jackie perform several times in the 1960's. The last time was around 1964 when I saw him perform here in Memphis in a concert that included Gladys Knight & the Pips, Hank Ballard & the Midnighters, B.B. King, Gene Chandler and the late, great Sam Cooke! I believe the ticket was something like $4 or $5dollars! Jackie went on stage last and put on a hell of a show! He had everyone dancin' in the aisles!
