I am wondering why you use your wireless belt-packs with this particular Shure handheld mic instead of using your wireless hand helds (with any particular choice of capsule)?

@ScottParrWeddings Great question Scott. The mics I use for the quartets (Shure PG81) are actually made for broadcasting acoustic instruments. Flat freq response and good rejection of feedback. The handheld microphones I already had would have worked, they just wouldn't have sounded as good nor have been designed for this application. Thanks for watching...
Rick, you really know your stuff. I appreciate the great information that you share with everyone. I have one question. In all your videos you're wearing a black t-shirt & shorts and it looks like your close to starting the actual ceremony. Do you change into more appropriate attire or stay in what you are wearing in the video? Thanks.
Yes, I change clothes-in fact look at the 2:12 mark of this video, I put in a little annotation. The same attention to detail that I have for gear extends to everything....planning, rehearsing, the couple's expectations...I even ask them what THEY would like me to be wearing at the wedding. This video was shot about 20 minutes before guests started arriving. Had we been any closer to the ceremony I'd have never powered up the camera. I'll never do a gig log for this reason. Not my style. Thx!
i noticed you have 4 or more wireless microphones and i was wondering do you run them all into your dj mixer or do you run a separate board for your microphones?
I have another video on my wireless mic console, as well as overall setup and presentation. Between those two videos, you'll get a better idea of how I rack my stuff. Presentation is everything. Thanks for watchin...
Thanks Mario! Keep up your great work as well, as an industry we can all be better and look for ways to exceed expectations. I appreciate you watching!
Thanks, Vinnie-I'll have more opportunities now to upload some of the great stuff from summer 2009 now that the season is winding down. Stay tuned my friend!
I appreciate that, and it's stuff that we can all do. Some of the best events we can pull off are ones where the details cost little or nothing to pull off. We all just have to care. Thanks for watching man!

@BassIsLoadedDJ
I figured a real professional like yourself would do so, but I still had to ask to ease my mind. Thank you.

Finally, Rick has come back to YouTube.
Nice video, sir, great advise and thanks for sharing your knowledge of Audio Gear with all.
Yound DJs, take note ...
This is the stuff that will separate you from the down and dirty DJs of the world.
Rick, I'm waiting to see a gig log from you, my friend.
