@Holloway6151975 I might use linux if I could install any flavor of it and have it work out of the box. The reason it doesn't "bluescreen" is because you actually have to have drivers loaded to have it happen. I've tried linux maybe a dozen times and everytime on every machine, something doesn't work.. sound, network, wireless, etc... Then I have to spend 10 hours hunting down some special linux driver for it. Not worth my hours and headaches.
@ThrakaAndy Mac uses .dmg files, windows uses .cab file's, and linux use repository files. I have used Redhat, Non-GUI platforms(ie SUSE and Madrake(no good), and Unbuntu, and I have also use VMware running linux behind windows. Linux is very good but the sofware is limited because people or using mac or ms. Linux sofware are widely used in major corp and now smart phone technology but why are they rich like MS. With unix which linux is unix simplified ms or mac wouldnt be sh*t

Rather your pro Microsoft or pro Mac til this day I have hardly heard anyone reporting that Linux "Blue Screened" Linux is an Open Source so its by the people for the people, and once you master that you basically have the foundation of both MS and Mac because Unix was the basis of them all. Apple,MS and Linux used GUI to make things simplified for home use. So why isn't Linux as powerful as MS and Mac. Someone please help me understand and shed some light on this. Thanks in advance

@Holloway6151975 I might use linux if I could install any flavor of it and have it work out of the box. The reason it doesn't "bluescreen" is because you actually have to have drivers loaded to have it happen. I've tried linux maybe a dozen times and everytime on every machine, something doesn't work.. sound, network, wireless, etc... Then I have to spend 10 hours hunting down some special linux driver for it. Not worth my hours and headaches.

@ThrakaAndy Mac uses .dmg files, windows uses .cab file's, and linux use repository files. I have used Redhat, Non-GUI platforms(ie SUSE and Madrake(no good), and Unbuntu, and I have also use VMware running linux behind windows. Linux is very good but the sofware is limited because people or using mac or ms. Linux sofware are widely used in major corp and now smart phone technology but why are they rich like MS. With unix which linux is unix simplified ms or mac wouldnt be sh*t

Steve jobs may not have been the kindest of people (people were actually afraid to go into the elevator with him, according to his biography) but he changed the way we look at things.
