  • Fuck MAINSTREAM , stay underground

  • my opinion is still. i think dubstep comes from drum and bass. just delete drums, slow it, and fine.

  • @HUNpusi lol

  • Comment removed

  • @HUNpusi thats what I think....Same evil sounds, just slowed down BPM..

  • @HUNpusi It's interesting how its evolution holds many parallels, such as the brostep and jump-up/clownstep development. Basically, it's all breakbeat music with heavy bass anyway

  • lol most people don't even know who mala, benga, loefah, or coki are which are the pioneers of todays dubstep. no one seems to give them props which they so greatly deserve instead they listen to skrillex or doctor p who i am not saying are necessarily bad but it really shows how much dubstep has changed since the beginning.

  • @mattehFLCL unfortunately thats because 12" a/b releases are a lot less accessible than a skrillex album is. At this point, its wiser to just keep the good stuff quiet.

  • @sandboxplaya Agreed.

  • I used to listen to tech step from artists from the old mp3.com about 12 - 15 years ago and a lot of it influenced some of the most popular music today. People made fun of me for my music. One kid was trying to make fun of me and said "electronic music is like that gay star wars laser gun sound". Now everyone, even he listens to it.

Why did people make fun of me listening to experimental electronic music back then, and now they listen to music with some of those attributes?

  • "it's so far from it, it's such a hybrid"

  • Back when there was actually dub in dubstep.

  • how's the song called starting at 3:07 ?

  • :40 song please

  • what's that song all the way in the beginning? i feel really stupid not knowing that haha ...

  • LOOOOOOOOOL that matey at 3:36 is gurning his fucking face off!!!

  • Does anyone know what that garage tune is called at 2.00-2.10?

  • @Eclectic011Princess Artwork - Red

Made and recorded in one take in the private studio of Big Apple ;)

  • @UseYourNightvision Aww thanks dude! :-D Now my education can continue lol... I heard this song years ago but I wasn't into dubstep back then & I didn't know it was Artwork. Cheers

1 Hour MIX - DubStep & MidRange Cack! HD

  • YOUNGSTA CANT MIX LIKE ME SIMPLE .

one thing he has an unlimited amount of kryptic minds dubs. + bookings galore.

go into blackmarket + ask him for a good tune + watch him give u some BUUUULLLLLLSSSSHHHHIIIIITTTTTTTT !!!!!!!

  • annoys me when dubstep historians dont acknowledge the (very significant) part grime played in it's evolution....bit snobby TBH...

  • @supadupa2525 Skrillex isn't dubstep. Just so you know

  • wobble infestation has now influenced america.

  • @supadupa2525 Innovative sound? Skrillex? You must be smoking a bowl right now, because that doesn't make sense. Do you really listen to the sub that is present in most dubstep songs (except Skrillex's songs that is)?

  • @supadupa2525 daniel bedingfield - gotta get thru this... its an old UK garage track.

  • WHATS THE TRACKS CALLED FROM 0:37 AND FROM THE CREDITS PLEASE SOME ONE TELL ME! TY

  • @futavadumnezo

Hi the track is BLUE NOTEZ- BY MALA :DMZ

Check out all the DMZ releases..... they are some of the godfathers of the early sound.

  • Damn. Dubstep has evolved a lot. It's like really hard liquid techno.

  • @OfficialCalumChannel devolved.

  • i love dubstep!

its koo to see how its constantly evolving!

hearing it at a rave jus hits your core...it almost makes you feel powerful.

  • Dubstep aint what it used to be.

  • just saw hatcha one week ago. epic party.

  • what's the song @ 2:39?

  • Song @ 1.33?

  • @xptoprofile

    artful dodger - re-rewind

  • Mr. Oizo Flat Beat

  • The development is really amazing. so many styles...i listen to dubstep since 3 years now, first heard it in a small club in berlin. when i heard the sounds and especially the deep bass, i felt like: "Damn, what the fuck is this? Sounds great!" And now i couldnt imagine a life without this great music. Big up the pioneers! Big up to those who are pushing this fwd!!!!

    Peace from Berlin!

  • wierd they didnt mention rusko once.

  • @Zkrudriverz Mabe cause hes too mainstream same with Caspa and this guy is a true gangster and not shy and does not like mainstream dubstep and only like the true dubstep and hes a gangster and hes not shy, thats what he said. He said he was a gangster.

  • What's the song at 4:28?

  • @pandaSmore not sure which one you mean - you either mean crunked up by benga or the one just after that is blue notez by mala

  • @pandaSmore Blue notez my Mala

  • Lol tomas!

  • gimme that dirty shit.

  • 6BLOCC is THE L.A. dubstep artist no one can beat him

hes dirty and crazy in his beats

and GASLAMP KILLER is badass too

  • @chrishaslam323 Gaslamp Killer don't even make dubstep, mixes it though with all the other down-tempo beat shit. 6BLOCC mmmmmmmmm alright i spose but you can't take the dub from its home. UK has the Underground dance scene on lock. Always has, always will.

  • Great Tune..We have some Huge tunes on our page also..the best of the best from the best...come check out the page and SUBSCRIBE if you like..Big Ups

  • that picture of hatcha smoking that joint is sick wheres it from?

  • whats that dub tune at 2.50 called?

  • @TheMorganDavies Dance of the vampires - Scientist

  • Coming from a californian: there is SOME sick american dubstep, but by and large our scene don't even come close to comparing to the UK. there are some sick producers with teh real dub and reggae roots in santa cruz (rastatronics, timonkeys), but no one compares to skream, benga, emalkay, ed solo, digital mystikz, any of the UK crew.

  • if you like this you will sure love my tune, i am talking about hardworkin tune, not that ugly home made sht you always get fooled by others: check this /watch?v=mQtZXVimLcI (Romanian Dubstep) ENJOY!

  • daniel fukin bedinfield haha no grime artist... nice vid tho

  • I only know a few dubstep songs that are actually decent to listen to sober( Mimosa-another day)...i respect this shit, but i feel as though the original artists will grow out of it as they get older...some of this shit is just absolute ruckus...but i realize it's massaging when you're ex tra fucked up...i have yet to rage my face off...and i'm not gonna fake it

  • completely agree with youngsta when he says it's something he was looking for, i share the same feeling

  • whats the song at 2:39 ?

  • guyz this is shyt .. if you want real dubstep check out ITUNEZ,NET

  • @andre100williams i tunez U FUKIN SERIOUS fuk offff

  • What kind of dubstep does he describe at 5:52.

    He says:

"Theres liquid dubstep.... and there's some more [BLANK] dubstep."

    What is he saying?

  • ...more techy dubstep..

  • Ahh! Thanks. For some reason i thought the guy said tippy...

  • Techie and Dubby

  • @DannySMalone Techy dubstep

  • i guess dubstep follows drum n bass with it's subgneres then. liquid and tech and that

  • what's the tune near the end? after skream-chest boxing??

  • "it was more darker"

"the small majority of people was liking it"

    small majority? legend

  • Does anyone know what the tune at 2.33 is. It's the blue record that's spinning after the picture of lady soveriegn. Nice clean tune. Cheers.

  • @itjustslippedin midnight request line - Skream

  • Thank you mate. You're a diamond. I haven't checked it out yet, but thanx. See people, YouTube can be about sharing, love & communication. P.s - If it's wrong I'm coming for you.

  • @dodexodus haha ,ayne thats why he lets hes music do the talking usually

  • @superchelseafctw haha too true!

  • All things that ARE came from what WAS. Music included. Its a natural progression that will never stop.

  • MILANESE !

  • wots that el-b tune???????

  • @daffyduckUK1 It's called serious I think and it's on the Roots of El-B release; both the Cd and Vinyl version

  • daniel beddingfield was garage???

WTF is the world coming to. lmao.

    peace

  • @mambo7891 Yeah listen to I gotta get through this. Comercial as you like mind

  • i always thought dubstep came from dnb

  • Garage, Dub and DnB are the three genres I consider the roots of Dubstep. DnB is a big influence in a lot of Dubstep (you just have to listen to the wobble bass to realise that) so you are partially right.

  • look slike tha because dnb also came from raggae wich made jungle wich made dnb

  • yea ... thats right

  • It's all virus, baby.

  • al about sukh knight, nasha records!

  • i love dubstep it sends chills down my spine when i hear a dope tune i havnt heard yet

  • This is so old now

It's history; Babylon volume one is about as old. Nuff said. Benga and Skream are superstar DJs now and Benga hasn't produced anything decent in a while. Skream's still got a lot of clout as a DJ and a producer, his new album's about to drop and it's going to be big. New talent has come and sold out. Dubstep isn't all about he UK now. Two years. Time moves fast while raving to dubstep

  • @gloverfelix you're right. America is grabbing hold of it and transforming it, and I LOVE where its going :]

  • @jake77 you've got to be kidding? Of all the American dubstep artists I can name only a few who are really innovative. 6Blocc is pure talent but his stuff's getting a little boring; always the same remix pattern.

People like Datsik, excision, etc are just making loud noise. It's not dubstep. If you want Dubstep listen to RSD, Skream, Joker, Brackles, Untold, etc. TRUE HEADS

  • @gloverfelix i'm from london, love appleblim ramadanman etc.... but jus wan 2562 starkey are all good dubstep from us

  • @djredi2step 2562 is from the Netherlands

So that leaves 2 names that spring to mind immediatly.

I'm not saying good dubstep doesn't come out of the US

I'm saying a larger proportion of productions coming out of the US aren't very good

  • @gloverfelix your right most of the stuff that comes out over there is diabolical. 2562 lives in america btw. i'm just saying that they shouldnt be completely ignored when it comes to dubstep. jus wan has come out with some stunning tunes

  • @gloverfelix

lol if you dont think benga has produced anything good lately you must not listen to rinse.

  • @recomposed I'm actually a regular Rinse Listener (pretty stoked they got an FM license) I'm just really not a fan of Benga. His contribution to Magnetic man's decent (I saw them live last week and they were insane) but really not feeling the Phaze one EP or that new he's got out.

  • @gloverfelix BULLET REAL TALK

  • @jadebumhead CHAT SHIT GET BANGED

  • @gloverfelix true. if you invent an idea and share it with the world, the idea isn't yours anymore.

  • @CHeRNoRMX unless you copywrite it

  • @gloverfelix Man you aint seen nothing yet. America is gonna rape dubstep until the whole fucking world is sick of it. Nobody knows how to rinse the shit out of an old horse like USA. They poison everything. Who cares though, there is always good shit happening in the underground.

  • @djcondra i fucking hate the U.S. they ruin everything and make it sound fucking terrible. all of the good music has ether come out of the U.K. or Jamaica. The U.S.is just fucking sad..

  • @djcondra I'm American but I agree completely and when they think it's dubstep it's just like pussy techno..

  • @djcondra lol just cause americans change shit doesn't mean its bad... All music is just he course of music not "america raping dubstep" thats just stupid. i'm sure if i looked it up i could find a genre that started somewhere else and UK "raped"

  • @darsynm Way to make a point really badly. I suspect you might be a 12 year old Skrillex fan. Good luck with that.

  • @djcondra lol you suspect i'm 12? first of all how would you even know..

second of all I don't see how i made the point badly. Explain a bit more?

third, skrillex is the shit. Just because it's different from the dubstep you know doesn't mean you have to bash it. Its called being a poor sport.

    gtfo

  • @darsynm stop crying or I'll tell your mom about your homosexuality.

  • @djcondra lol okay. xP

go smoke weed and then come back to me

  • @darsynm I was smoking weed when you were suckin your moms titties, son.

  • @djcondra lol then let it open your mind and stop being a prick

  • @djcondra *Looks at the widdler.*

  • @djcondra Dubstep is like adelle, doesn't matter how many times you hear it, sounds just like the first time you hear it, amazing

  • @djcondra this

  • @djcondra I cant help it, I am form austria.

  • @djcondra fuck that why cant dubstep be dubstep, the best dubstep comes out of the UK but there are good Steppas from North America that aren't just brostep

  • Comment removed

  • @djcondra man your right.. i live in northern california and dubstep is already getting played out.. Whats worse is the DJ's playing dubstep around here aren't even turntablists.. They just play dubstep from their laptops and wave their hands around and act like they are doing something which is really annoying.. o_O
