  • awesomeness at 3:25

  • Tuning please?

  • does anybody have the cello notes for this song

  • 11 people stopped believing

  • And ur gona tell me the cello isnt the best.

  • Double bass my good friend. Double bass. And tuba. Obviously. (imma sucker for bass clef)

  • I regret my decision to be a violinist so much CELLYs are obvs better

  • Cello power(:

  • GTL

  • Sou apaixonado pelo Journey e, em especial, por Don't Stop Believing e confesso que esta vesrao ´e tao gostosa quanto a original. Os caras sao simplesmente fantasticcos!

  • clearly i play tuba. im a tuba perfomance major. if you want i can message you my version. or me playing it on the piano. both great intonation

  • @TubaDan098 :| errr thats mainly because when you play a button the right sound comes out unlike string instruments where every placement matters.

  • @q1kyle25 Are you kidding! Not only are you moving your fingers, you are moving wind! It's a lot harder for tonality with brass instruments, well flute the most. I had an easier time keeping tone with Tuba than Bass (I had to learn it for my Music Ed Degree)

  • @TubaDan098 hey same here moving finger on one and moving bow on the other.

  • @TubaDan098 we also have to be in tune perfectly or it sound like crap and with seven positions its not easy to read either [:

  • @juniorbug1997 Any instrument has to play in tune, and trombones have 7 positions also. And they don't have tap to tell them where the right note is. They have to be able to hear the pitch, buzz the pitch, and have the exact amount of slide or it will come out not in tune. Props for Trombones. God, I'm just saying the obvious, it wasn't in tune.

  • @TubaDan098 well of course playing on the piano is in tune you either hit the right note or you dont there is no fiddling around with it to make it sound intune

  • 9 people stopped believing.

  • They fucking awesome.

  • I hate to be a bitch, intonation?

  • @TubaDan098 lets see you play that on cello.

  • great

  • cool that is awesome

  • who coughed??

  • man i'm sold, i want this played at my wedding lol

  • hope i can play that too..wEeeh ;]

  • SIMPLY AWESOME....MY BEST WISHES FOR YOUR FUTURE..

  • sounds awesome on strings. great job students!!!!

  • Yep, I noticed this was in the wedding singer. The scene where Robbie's stood up.

  • Props to the sleeveless dudes. Another day, another stereotype blown away

  • @Rotard12a he was our school bully

  • they are a bit flat on some notes and they are not matched at some points but other than that they were very good :)

  • that looks hard some good stuff here very good

  • Now I've heard EVERYTHING there is to hear in this life.

  • @jlo90009 I want to learn it.

  • awesome

  • amazing O_O

  • Well thanks to X factor and Joe McEderry, Journey is hitting the UK like it has just been released for the first time hitting Number 19 over a month ago and now Number 4! Amazing. I had never heard of it until I partied big style in RI and Nantucket. Loving the instrumental

  • oops i accidentally taught myself this but an octave lower :(

  • The Wedding Singer?

  • felicidades y saludos desde Mexico

  • NICE!

  • My high school orchestra played this for our entrance and exit music at our graduation. It sounds amazing on strings.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

  • AMAZING

  • Very well done. :]

Things like this, make me want to learn how to play the cello... although I love my viola... cello's are just BEAUTIFUL. :]

  • Impresionante... ¡felicitaciones!...

  • Does anyone have the sheet music for strings? thank you!

  • yes

  • cool!

  • well done!

  • the reason that it sounds out of tune is that some microphones on video cameras like these pick up some frequencies better and louder than other frequencies. i'm sure it sounded great in person. good job guys!

  • unless you play cello, you really shouldnt say $h!t about this being off rhythym and out of tune. this is awesome.(:

definetly not the easiest song to play.

  • you're absolutely right

  • You are right! I play the cello, and this sound pretty good. It would have sounded AWSOME in person, like gigem said. And this is definately NOT the easiest song to play! Expecally with all the shifting. (Moving up the string, for those who don't know.)

  • coooolllllllllllll...............

  • omg i want you to come and play at my wedding

  • Nicely done. Even though people give bunh of crap about the key and rythym, honestly who cares for people who surround their lives on insulting people on youtube?

  • It sounds off key because it's a warm up.

Low Strung was playing the music on the Wedding Singer.

The actual recording of this song sounds great.

  • i love this videoo !

    you guys are amesome (:

    its f' ' IN sweeeet !

    it rele calms mee .

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEOO !

    i think its f"ing sweett (:

    it calms mee .

  • dont stop belivng is good with violins

  • sounds like it was actually meant for violins etc.

  • its not supposed to sound exactly like the real song. thats why its so awesome that they can take the song and transform it into something like this, and make it unique.

  • true.

  • Using this at my wedding this month.

  • i dont mean to scare you but did you happen to see adam sandlers the wedding singer this song played this style at his ALMOST wedding

  • that just goes to show how impressive Steve Perry's voice was, the range and the pitches he used were amazing

  • first im gonna say this is amazing and 731478137489174x better than anything i could ever do, but does it sound kind of out of tune to anyone else?

  • A little bit, but amazing nonetheless.

  • yeah it is pretty out of tune

... it's actually really off rythem wise too

cool idea ... not well persued

  • very impressive

  • Amazing version. Who cares if it doesnt sound that much like song. Its still amazing

  • awesome.......... congratulations guys

  • i want that at my wedding.....no i just have to find me a good wife first!!!

  • i love this.

  • f-off, if you dont like it, dont watch it...chorale music is awesome

  • I didn't remember what I wrote at first, so I went back and read my comment. I was way off base and if I offended you or anyone I deeply apologize.I. do feel that a " f-off " comment was a bit harsh. However, I do apologize and I will make an effort not to rush to judgement in the future. I can understand your criticism.

  • well...thank you for that, and i apologize for being so harsh

  • can u do better??

  • Hey, let up,I already apologized.

  • I agree...doesn't sound anything like the real song

  • so many replys!!!!

  • haha

  • That is awesome

  • MUY BUENO!!!!!!!!!

  • SICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK.

  • good except the chick terribly off key

  • This was on "The Wedding Singer" : )

  • TERIFFIC!!

  • awesome!

  • love it

  • rele amazing! is there flutes?

  • yes... flutes in a cello group

  • this is absolutely amazing! words cannot describe.

  • only got one thing say lol. wow!

  • Awesome, just like in "The Wedding Singer". Makes me want to hire you guys to play at my wedding. :)

  • i wouldn't pay a bit of attention to kewlwildcat because apparantly he/she has no taste for the fine things in life! very nice job it came from the heart!! the girl that plays a lot of the 'lead' is so fine!!

  • I thought it was an extremely commendable effort, and the whole piece turned out very well. Great skill level there too. Keep it up!

  • Really out of tune.

  • Steve Perry....Steve Perry!!!

    Nice vid, a classic

  • I absolutely love it!!!!! so awesome!!!! : )

  • i heard this song on collin murray on radio 1 and told my mum about them. I got their album for christmas and i love every song.

  • i wish i was that girl

  • Omg thats sooo cool :D awesome job

  • cool but the audio quility was poor :O(

  • I beg to differ about the cello comments.

  • wish i was there!!you guy are awesomw!!!!!!!!

  • great performance!! congratulations

  • hey that was really good do you have the sheet music for that for the cello

  • GET A VIOLINIST!!!!!

  • If they're called "Low Strung" why would they have a violin? Learn about instruments before you spout off

  • so they could actually play those challenging parts in tune, mugzy81. They are good players, it's just that it would help to have an instrument with an E string!

  • Word! I 'see' what you're saying. Sorry if I came off harsh. ;)

  • :) Nice pun.

  • shut up i play the violin but CELLOS R AWESOME

  • Sure celli are cool but no one will tell you that 0:55 sounds good. There's just no way to play something like that on a cello.

  • sure celli are cool but 0:55 and 2:55 are just embarassing!

There's just no way that a cello can play some of these parts.

  • so true. The lead should have been a violin. You feel it more when it has a higher pitch. Perry's voice wasn't even as low as the cello.

  • That was perfect!

  • who new cello's could be used in so many ways...

  • Haha awesome!! I never thought I'd hear a cello journey cover! Way different than the metallica covers I'm used to! You guys are really good, plus that guy is totally sexy. I would marry a cellist, straight up.

  • My Advanced orchestra played that(not as good) but its an 8th grade orchestra. I'm in the jazz band.

  • those are big fiddles.

  • my favorite song

  • she looks my ex..!

  • Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the one from the wedding singer sounds good..does anyone know who does that one...

  • dude i've been looking for that for the past 5 minutes, i cant find it! =(

the wedding singer is one of my favorite movies haha so i need thattt song!

  • I wish I knew too... :|

  • it was decent, just a little pitchy problems. haha i sound like randy jackson. WOOOO

dont get me wrong here, songs hard as crap to play.

  • may or may not have to have this as music before my wedding...maybe even the recessional...

  • I've been waiting a long time to hear a full version with the strings. Awesome job to these people.

  • this reminds me of the wedding singer...just before hes left at the altar....brilliant...i love that film...and i love journey...but i hate baseball cards ;)

  • Is your name "Adam We?"

  • so cool

  • thats awesome

  • What arrangement is this? Where can I get it?

  • Du bist ein kleiner Scheisskoeter!

  • They were undergrads at Yale. The guy with the short hair arranged all the pieces. I think they've all graduated now. Once got to see them perform in one of the gothic churches on campus. It was moving.

  • Legendary.....enough said!!!!

  • When did people get so FREAKIN' cool?!?!?!

  • Another JOURNEY great !! Cool one team !
