Yes, I did. I posted my comment after having watched the last part (10 of 10). Irving has certainly done a lot of research. In my opinion his interpretation is extremely biased to an extent where his conclusions do not make sense and are contradictory.
For example: In part 4, Irving argues that Churchill was hired by wealthy Jews to attack Nazi-Germany. In part 7, he says that the only purpose of Churchill's fight against Hitler was the glorification of his own name.
But more important: In part 10 Irving tells us about meeting after meeting where Churchill was so drunk that he did not realize what was going on and made desastrous decisions. Nevertheless he launched a brilliant campaign to come to power and fool the parliament and the public about Hitler's true intentions, never making a mistake in this venture.
I did not get the idea that Churchill did not know what he was doing. It seemed to me that he know what he wanted but finally gave in to the realization that the people around him didn't want to comply, as with the anthrax.
I did not try to say that Churchill never knew what was going on, but Irving talks about many situations, where Churchill is said to be so drunk, that he was not able to say something sensible. And Irving connects Churchills drunkenness with making wrong decisions. See especially part 10.
Perhaps it means that Churchill accepted the money in order to persue the glorification of his name. If one is not reading a prepared script in public speaking, mistakes can occur.
Why should Jewish bankers or the Czech government finance Churchill in order that he could pursue the glorification of his name?
When you look at the way Irving talks about this point at the beginning of part 7 it becomes clear that it is not something he just mentions. He feels the need to justify it because he sees it as a "severe accusation". So he talks about this point for some time, without mentioning his financial supporters.
Churchill would not tell his money source (or anyone else of course) that he is accepting this financing to satisfy his ego's need to glorify his name for the future. They would not care in any case as long as he did what they contracted him to do.
For example: In part 4 Irving claims that Churchill was "hired" by wealthy Jews to attack Nazi Germany. When he talks about Churchills reason to fight Hitler in part 7, he accuses Churchill of doing so only because he (Churchill) wants to glorify his name.
When people enter into agreements with each other, they don't necessarily do so for the same reasons. And they don't necessarily care what reasons the other has as long as they get what they need from the agreement.
As a simple example, and perhaps not the best one; when a gun store owner sells a gun, he does so for the money. The buyer is not going to explain what he wants the gun for but both are satisfied with the results of the agreement.i.e. gun for money.

I think that the English wouldn´t have had a disadvantage if Germany dominated the continent economically.

Why should the world feel guilty about the Germans who died in Dresden? The Germans started the war, didn't they? The German killing machine had gone around murdering, maiming and pillaging. Yes, I did. I posted my comment after having watched the last part (10 of 10). Irving has certainly done a lot of research. In my opinion his interpretation is extremely biased to an extent where his conclusions do not make sense and are contradictory.

I did not try to say that Churchill never knew what was going on, but Irving talks about many situations, where Churchill is said to be so drunk, that he was not able to say something sensible. And Irving connects Churchills drunkenness with making wrong decisions. See especially part 10.

When you look at the way Irving talks about this point at the beginning of part 7 it becomes clear that it is not something he just mentions. He feels the need to justify it because he sees it as a "severe accusation". So he talks about this point for some time, without mentioning his financial supporters.

When people enter into agreements with each other, they don't necessarily do so for the same reasons. And they don't necessarily care what reasons the other has as long as they get what they need from the agreement.
As a simple example, and perhaps not the best one; when a gun store owner sells a gun, he does so for the money. The buyer is not going to explain what he wants the gun for but both are satisfied with the results of the agreement.i.e. gun for money.

The point is that Germany never has been a threat to the UK. There was never the intention to attack England. Why would the Germans have thought so? The history of both nations is closely linked to each other. Even english royals acceded to the throne of the princedom Sachse Coburg and Gotha.
I think that the English wouldn´t have had a disadvantage if Germany dominated the continent economically.

Britain's overwhelming naval superiority made a German invasion (or anybody else's invasion) impossible. Hitler conceded to Britain this superiority, by choosing not to compete against the Royal Navy. Even more ludicrous is the idea Germany could have invaded the USA.

He would spread himself too thinly if he had done so and it would have been his undoing, earlier than he would have liked. Germany didn't invade not out of any thoughts for posterity's sake. But Churchill also stated, that the economical alternative which the German Reich's autarky and self-supply, the building of a central European axis and alliance including oil-states like Romania and 1941 Iraqi revolutionaries (Baath pro-German), offered, was dangerous to British economic interests and global importance of the British trade system. Germany was becoming an economic rival.
