@RuroiniStenchin there's a difference between using only 4 chords during 3 minutes on a piano or a guitare, pretending to be original, and, using other ways of composing song (counterpoint for exemple) and creating something new. I mean, hundreds of years before us, composers weren't using only those 4 chord progression, and were not aiming to make a hit, but aiming to create a song, that's all. Today, of course, we still have brilliant composers, but not to be found in pop music.
