@MrRiverman81 so the language they use in some songs is their islands language? i looked a little at their homeland, looks like a pretty awesome place.
Hail to Odin brother I am with you and Jesus came to the Jews only, but to be fair it's not his fault that those demons put his body on the stick and went out to destroy other cultures.
Translation for Intro... Your welcome. Silence, ancient tales, the voices of ancient sites Revenge and hatred mentioned, the fire of envy Hope has died on battlefields Garm barks loud before the gates of Hel Wind-age, wolf-age has come Axe-age, sword-age will soon be gone Bring forth armour, marked by many battles Chainmail and shiny sword and ride forth into the field Face what may come, then let everything go Long have I carried this day in my mind.
any one have an english translation for the first few stanzas? i cant seem to find any online and the online translators i've found have failed to translate it. i love this song and the lyrics are really amazing. i'd love to know what the rest of the song means.
I have been trying to learn (kinda OK) how to speak faroese and from what i can tell from all that i have translated/read the start is weird cuz Tøgn translates (according to websters online multi langual dictionary) silence Gomul (from a lesson i am reading) is female and (same as Tøgn) søgn is legend? well i'm not sure and i dont know if they have more meanings that one
how many songs are on this album? i can only find two. this and Valhalla

sinbysin: "good Faroese ore" I: "who was it that said you couldn't find ore among the rocks of the Faroes. ^^,"
It's an in-side-joke,,,,,, The Faroe islands is a country with no ore deposits, but even so, it can produce great "metal" bands such as Týr.

hehehee i see the irony :D
