I'm actually like a supernit generally when it comes to bankroll management and I don't really play for money (I just consider it like keeping score). I buy-in often for 1% or 2% max. Trouble for me is boredom. Sometimes I'm so tired of a lack of action or want to switch games that I seek out tables that are more short-handed at higher limits and that's when I tend to cheat my bankroll management - out of boredom rather than tilt. :-(
dude every single real poekr player will say ur right 100% ,and every single one of them will also say how fckin hard it is too do man! biggest enemy atleast for me againt good bank roll managment is the fckin garuntee tournies where its like 10K for first for a 50$ buy in.....idk how Chris Ferguson did that shit
"To be blunt, unless your willing to learn at low stakes your waisting your time and i'd rather have you as an opponent than a student." Best advice ever, bankroll management is SO IMPORTANT!!! That is why i'm +$500 and my friend Rob is stuck $200!!! If you go one day with no bankroll management..........that's the day you'll go broke!!!

"To be blunt, unless your willing to learn at low stakes, your wasting your time and I'd rather have you as an opponent than a student". That is blunt but it's the truth. I used to drop $25 online about once a week and kept losing it all in a night playing too high stakes. If you learn the patience and get a good solid and consistent game, playing at lower stakes allows you to gain skills and you'll quickly move-up into the higher stakes. I eventually turned $25 into over $3500, 4 years later :)
i was sick of getting broke all the time cuz i played 10 dollar cash games with only a 35 dollar bankroll and started getting broke pretty quick, now i realise i played too high stakes and started making money slow but sure thanks to your tips, thanks!
thanks 4 posting the video! dnt we all hate downswings! and b4 i didn deal wiv them very well, lyk most ametures wudn! but im sure uv gt the buy in prices wrong 4 the cash games and sit ngo's bcus I watch skypoker most of the tyms! the sit n go which I lyk 2 play shud b 50 times the buy in max! and cash games shud b 100 times the buy in max! ill watch ur other videos anyways bcus I lyk 2 improve my game at all tyms!
Great advice! Some poker players have bad leaks away from the poker table (i.e. table games like Pai-gow and Baccarat) and end up losing a big part and sometimes all of their bankroll. I invented a money management device (google WinnersBank200) that's helping out other poker players. If you find yourself on tilt and know that you are not playing your best, put away your money in this portable lockbox.
Im thinking about this ALOT, won $31 on freerolls, been playing $1 tourny which registers once a day, thinking of playing 5/10 cent, $3 buy in thinking of doing playing $20 leaving $10 behind in worst case senario, coz i KNOW I CAN BEAT THE GAME AND I RARELY GET OUTPLAYED AND I KNOW I CAN WIN MONEY
dont need to learn any skills i make a lot more money and quicker on 50cent 1 euro than any time ive tried on say 5cent10c it just wont happen 4 me

40 BI for a 1c/2c game would be 80-200$ defending on if you are buying in for 100-250 bbs.
if you were buying in for 20 bb you are right it would be 16$
