I have the same problem: when I start Tales Battle it closes, How do you get it to work? I already have the language pack (japanese) and i've a french Windows XP Professional

Go to Control Panel > Regional and Language Settings > Advanced > Japanese. Let the files download, and then restart and it should work.

I beat Guy with Luke on Unknown. =D That was a battle... Guy is so broken.. and I hate how hi-ougis waste your uuh... ki right down to nothing. Guy doesn't have any hi-ougis I never seen one yet, and its frustrating to go all the way through the first 4 battles without losing 1 life. Yggdrasil is also broken on Unknown, never beat him yet. XD

Ummm, how do you get this game to work? I can't read Japanese and it keeps on closing as soon as I start it up.

I can't read Japanese either but heres how to fix it:

Go to Control Panel > Regional and Language Settings > Advanced > Japanese. Let the files download, and then restart and it should work.
