Another thing you want to know: the sooner you bring the difficulty of a Bros. attack to 3, the sooner you will learned the advanced attack. Also, lv. 3 attacks do the most dammage (but I'm sure you noticed that XD)

Mario's Advanced Move let's you attack spike enemies

It's ESPECIALLY helpful in a later fight, i won't spoil who, but you'll know

Completely correct about the Splash Advance. However, a later badge also allows this bypass. I've also noted that the Splash Advance does LESS damage in order to grant spike penetration.

You will rather like the next Advance set. They allow multiple strikes against the same foe. You will love Luigi's if you get the timing right on bosses, it's one of the main attacks I use.

but still, for how much BS that boss is, it makes it a lot more manageable

There is a way to knock the spikes off of that certain boss as well, so it does not matter unless you want the quick way out.

Its ironic, how in the earlier vids, Luiz more or less glorified Mario by keeping him in front whenever he didn't need Luigi in front and such.... then Mario was the one to ultimately cause the first fail in the game. Now look at him XD.

Now he can control evil portals and make things spin then throw 'em at people! another reason why NOT to cross Touhou with Kirby. the other is that we might end up with a drunk loli Kirby who can throw knives while being a Shrine Maiden with a gate guard named China. that sounds kinda cool, actually.
