  • omeprazole i found did not work but lanzoprazole is good, also ginger biscuits apple cider vinegar

    and New Zealand honey.

you will find you can eat most things after a few days, this woman is over the top

  • soo...what the hell am i suppose to eat...?

  • i came here cause my stomach has been hurting and having a small pain for at least 5 months strate, so i started throwing up most of my food when i got sick 1 week ago, then i took a vow to fix myself, im not really fat but im 16 and 200 pounds, is that bad?

  • i cant eat anything lost 30lbs my head is a mess

  • I liked the pipe illustration.... That opened my eyes.

  • donnette7770 The most acidy foods are meats and cheeses (dairy.) Google it. That's why vegetarian or vegan is better for you.

  • What about juicng? and i was wandering if you think some fruits are too acidic?........ My case is horrible acid reflux and post nasal drip all the time, but thanks for tips

  • @donnette7770 The post nasal drip together with the acid relux makes it it sound like you may have some food intolerances. Gluten does those things to me.

  • wow i have very BIG problem i am asian and i eat rice with everything what am i suppose to do?

  • I have this and it is really annoying me, i gave up smoking five months ago and figured at least i could be rewarded by enjoying food more... No no.

Make matters worse i have horrible dypsnea which i suspect is partly caused by the reflux, i can't even sleep with it. My lungs, airways and stomach have gone through hell since i quit.

  • Thanks for the advice

  • my gut is a mess

  • Just got diagnosed today. I basically cant eat anything I normally do anymore. I'm kind of depressed.

  • My genius ENT told me alcohol doesn't bother it at all! Sigh... Every where I read, I see that it says stay away from alcohol!

  • 'cooking' oil in soups or sauces actually doesnt cause any issues because the moisture in those foods wont allow the temperature to go up beyond the boiling point of water due to the fact that they have so much moisture and at those temperatures, oils dont really have any issue.

My nexium can't B refilled for a few days. I feel like my case is so bad that I have actually caused minor internal bleeding. The apple cider trick feels like pouring salt or lemon juice N2 a stab wound for the first minute. Then I belch a few times & feel slightly better. I could only stand 2 swallow about 1 tablespoonfull.

  • I have had acid reflux and it isn't fun. Heartburn, all of that and I do watch what I eat as I am also a diabetic. I have found a remedy for heartburn that is great it works within 3 min and you don't have all the yukness of the stomach with it. I take 3 tablespoons of Vinegar. an Alternative to that Italian dressing or picklejuice. Try it. It works.

  • all i can say ,that if you get heartbrn..eat aplles,,

  • She means well but she hasn't done the research. I combined foods for decades with no problem, so food combining isn't the issue. The root cause is a change within the body, fix that and you fix the reflux. I got rid of the candida. Then fed the good bacteria with FOS (or you can eat bananas they have polysacchirides which good bacteria feed on) so they would growth. I haven't had acid reflux in years. I eat raw, but even when I eat cooked foods I have no problem.

  • Another thing it's not the foods u eat that cause acid reflux. You ate the same foods for years when younger with no problems so how can you eat a tomatoe with no problem in the past and now tomatoes cause problems? The food is fine. What changed is your body. If you end up with more bad bacteria(candida) than good bacteria(acidophilos) in you intestinal track. This can cause all types of problems, one being acid reflux. Balance the bacteria in your intestinal track and you'll get rid of reflux.

  • @knossis1 not always true. people, such as myself, have a completely malfunctioning LES causing EVERYTHING to come back up, including things like bile, etc. Even if you eat more alkaline, promote healthy bacteria, etc., you are still refluxing things that can irritate the esophagus.

  • @scopapa33 I had the same problem, I had acid reflux 24/7 for about 4 years, had a constant lump in my throat also. Going raw did reduce some of the symptoms but if I strayed from the diet I had problems. Now the reflux action has totally subsided and I don't have it any longer. For this to happen u need 2 address the real problem which is an imbalance in the intestinal track caused by candida. U need to kill or clean out enough of the candida so the good bacteria can grow. Terrimin clay helped.

  • @scopapa33 After years of eating raw, buying a vita mix blender, growing my own sprouts, eating raw saurakraut and other things, which got me back to about 85 percent help but never truly got rid of the reflux, the terramin clay took me over the top. The clay absorbs toxins & what I think it did was absorb the bad bacteria to it and it washed out of my body. I immediately noticed the difference. I stopped taking it after awhile and noticed when I went off my diet I had no problems.

  • @scopapa33 So look it up on the net, If you're already eating raw and adding good bacteria, the clay will get rid of enough of the bad bacteria so your intestinal track can again achieve balance and operate properly. The clay is what Nasa gives astronauts after they have been in space and loss bone density. Nasa found that calcium from diary and other sources did do much to rebuilt bone density but the clay worked wonders. Now I can eat anything I want but I choose to stay raw.

  • @knossis1

What is this "Clay" U speak of. I just ate half a bucket of Crayole Model Magic, to NO avail. Where can I get the clay that YOU argh talking about?!?

  • @scopapa33 1 last thing. My doctor at the Veterans Hospital told me I had a malfunctioning LES too but I found that it's not the LES that causes the reflux it's the intestinal tracks inablility to properly digest your food any longer to do an over growth of bad bacteria. Remember what I said, I was eating all the right foods too and still had the reflux, (why...cause it's not a food problem, its an intestinal problem). I hope this helps cause I know the struggle I went through for years.

  • @knossis1 you act as if the LES CAUSES the reflux, it doesnt. the issue is that EVERY BIT of gastric juices, whether alkaline, acidic, neutral, etc. all splash back up with a malfunctioning LES. I have near perfect digestion with all of my pro biotics and diet, but i still get reflux of everything causing the burning of my esophagus. Fixing digestion helps, but it does not cure relfux.

  • She's going about it the wrong way. She's telling you how to prepare your food to avoid acid reflux, she's not giving a cure. I had acid reflux for years. Had it 24 hrs a day 7 days aweek & no medicine helped. Did research, the root cause of reflux is candida in intestinal track. tried raw food(got some results 80% normal). Tried terramin clay and eureka it got rid of candida& set foundation for raw foods to work. U have to get rid of candida over growth first.(try terramin clay)

  • 3 minutes into this video and I'm still waiting for the cure for acid reflux. You're telling me what not to do or eat to get acid reflux, not what to do if I already have it. 5 minutes in and still no help. :(

  • That was... Descriptive.

  • Why is it that vegans always look gaunt... like something is missing from their eyes. It's hard to explain, but I honestly don't perceive them to be "healthy". In spite of their "health-food" rhetoric, they LOOK unwell.

  • Can someone tell me if a "cold" feeling in the stomach and the esophagus signifies acid reflux or GERD?

  • As a licensed nutritionist, it's obvious to me she doesn't know what she's talking about and makes the common assumption that all people react to the same foods or food combinations the same way - which they don't. I'm sure she means well, but she would have helped people more if she hadn't made the video at all.

  • @promotinghealth: Criticism is fine, but why do you feel she has no idea what she is saying. In addition what do you recommend?

  • @promotinghealth As a licensed asshole I can say 90% of nutritionist don't know shit!

  • @promotinghealth I do agree, good intentions no doubt,,I have just developed acid reflux,,the choking in the middle of the night is most unsettling.

I certainly have no intentions of chewing antacid tablets for the rest of my days so a lifestyle change is certainly in order.

I have a good friend who is a Doctor, his advice is sound,,smaller meals and meals high in complex carbs. avoid deep fried foods last meals should be 3-4 hours before bed.

Beer should be avoided, not advisable at all.

  • @promotinghealth One other point I would like to make,,,,I do enjoy my coffee, if I HAD to eliminate it from my diet I most certainly would.

An extensive study by a prominent university on GERD, their studies indicated that consumption of coffee did not show any detrimental effect or contributed in any way to acid reflux.

Most websites providing information on acid reflux advises sufferers to avoid coffee, but most information is very conflicting too many unqualified opinions ( in my opinion )

  • Is whey protein powder with 1/2 banana and almond milk okay to eat?

  • Xgrapher, why are you feeling jealous? Ha? whats wrong with you man?

  • Can I ask. To everyone here who has had acid reflux, how long does it take before the symptoms actually ease. Cuz I'm going abroad in two days and I would hate to be sick all way through :(

  • Are beans ok ?

  • You are beautiful. ;) I like you. and yeah I like your videos. Fawad from Kabul

  • @fawadakhtari Your mom is also beautiful and I like her too

  • So your saying go on a diet?

  • What about using chia and flax seeds for acid reflux combined with constipation and bloating? SHould these be avoided too? I've been having horrible pains and problems for the past two days thanks to these issues, despite being on a high raw diet. Thanks in advance!

  • great tips, thanks.

  • how do i get rid of the thing hanging in my throat that is my worst sympthom

prilozec gives me really bad cancer soars what do i do.

  • Try eating a Red Delicious apple. Apple vinegar never worked for me.Stay off junk food and smoking. Exercise, cut out soda, and all junk proccess foods. Deep breathing also helps.

  • I think these are good suggestions. I suffered from acid reflux and changed my diet. It works. It's when I eat the wrong foods it comes back. I think most of these people writing negative things are all the fat people on here. Thanks. Red Delicious apples also help.

  • she reminds me shakira

  • just fucking starve . what can you eat. wipe that smile off ur face

  • i like pp

  • Acid Reflux was cured with apple cider vinegar. Buy Braggs because its not filtered and has the good nutrients. Look it up seriously works like magic. That and don't eat right before you sleep.

  • @xeo4ke

I JUST THEN ran 2 Wal-Mart & got it. Seem 2 B working PERFECT. Thanks ALOT. It put an end to my 3 day heart burn from hell.

  • well im pretty much doing everything wrong here. dont move enough, mix proteins and starches, drink cofee, dont drink water enough, sleep right after eating, and so no, and then i just drink some apple cider to make it go away for a few hours.. =D

  • I also agree that it has something to do with stress. If you guys have a Polish store nearby go there and get some homemade saurkraut from the barrel not the ones that are in the jars on the shelfs.Theres a total difference in taste. The ones in the jars on the shelf taste so bad. The ones in the Barrels taste so good. It has helped me a lot.

    ~Just information not recommendation

  • i got heartburn right now, how can i cure it!?!?!?!?

  • easy to cure?? speak for yourself.

  • @murphy9238481 It is easy if you change your diet, reduce your stress, exercise regularly and sleep well. All this is based on my own experience, not just Natasha's video (which IS immensely helpful).

  • @FacePaintedClown Dude, shut up.

  • @FacePaintedClown wow you are so clever and original. a real gem. so glad you are on the planet wasting oxygen.

  • @FacePaintedClown You are a total asshole.

  • Powdered greens such as Greens Plus or wheatgrass. Works every time and no side effects, just better health.

  • Does yogurt help?

  • I ate a banana and it caused acid relfux. I had a little pineapple after because I thought it would help...but it didn't. I then ate a handful of raw almonds and that didn't seem to help either.

  • @nocturne1980 : banana increases acid reflux; i dont know how, but i can say it based on my experience. also apple really helps;

  • @meilichia I'm 8 weeks pregnant and this has been going on for 3 weeks now. I have been trying to find a natural cure for this, but nothing helps except chewing gum. I've chewed so much gum that my jaw is sore. My OB GYN says take tums...but that makes it worse imo.

  • @nocturne1980

haha why dont u eat whole turkey

  • @abbynady ????

  • I always have a constant sore throat especially when i woke up in the morning, I always feel hungry like i want to vomit....I have a lockjaw somtimes.....

  • @sgtshendou

    Hi,

I suffer the same problems and I am so fed up with it, you say you get lockjaw how often do you get this?

I would be Interested in talking to you, I also suffer from sore throats, my email is

    donnadinns123@yahoo.co.uk

  • @sgtshendou You need to check in with a ENT specialist and make sure your throat ulcers don't become cancerous. Also drink a lot of water. I find Camomile tea with 1/2 spoon ginger power before bedtime really helps.

  • i like how you say cheese. thanks for the tips

  • thanks

  • Very good video - all u said relates to ayurvedic knowledge

  • what the fuck is a diet change gonna do??! all it will do is supress the symptoms ad what idiot thinks fruit is bad for you get a life hypochondriac.. i read thqat the main cause is your LES is too relxed and is letting the aicd back up when it shouldnt. no diet will cure that

  • @BellaaMarlene ur crazy! - that is all

  • @BellaaMarlene The diet helps, trust me. The reason LES gets too relaxed is in result of years and years of putting too much strain on a stomach with junk foods, fatty foods, acidic foods, and other crap which is too hard for the stomach to digest. Another reason is eating before bed which makes food rot and gases come up to relax the LES. By following good diet guidelines, you are making it easy for your stomach to digest food and letting your LES strengthen over time. It can take 3-4 months.

  • Stop letting your coworkers influence you that eating pizza, mongo burgers and foot long greasy steak subs and french fries are good for you. Stop eating like a pig, drink plenty of water and REAL fruit and vegetable juices, and no alcohol or drinks containing high fructose corn syrup or aspartame. Also, try chewing a couple of papaya enzyme tablets after your meals. Half of the chemical laden crap sold in stores these days taxes the hell out of our body's ability to digest them on its own.

  • just drink a shot of vinegar. Stop taking drugs America. crack heads. JUST TAKE A SHOT OF VINNIGER. This will reset the acid glands that are making you uncomfortable. This lady know nothing.

  • I had horrible GERD and heartburn for YEARS, was taking Zantac 150mg twice a day just to barely control it. I CURED it by eating high raw. (about 80%) The rest of my diet is cooked whole foods, occasional farm fresh eggs or local fish. Sugar, dairy, and caffeine are almost non-existent, and I don't even miss them. It's simple, I don't worry with food combining or any of that stuff, and I don't limit my garlic, tomatoes, or spices either. It's amazing! Plus I lost 20 pounds. :-)

  • looking forward to the challenge and again great video

  • Great video! I was wondering how much fruit is ok to eat a day? When I increase my fruits to more than one or two a day I tend to break out. Any advice or suggestions?

  • @auttie8903 yep i dont take anything above a berry although im trialling pineapple today to see how it goes cos its been ok in the past

  • You always make everything make sense!!

  • I got rid of heartburn/acid reflux just by cutting wheat down from 50% of my diet to less than 5%. And I"m sleeping better too.

  • I love combining fruits and greens. No acid issues here and I eat lots of spicy foods and tomato's. Raw of course. I think it has to do to the fact I stopped eating processed foods a couple of years ago. Not 100% percent raw all the time but most of the time.

  • Tomorrow I won't eat many overt fats and see if it helps my digestion. Thank you

  • Nice video. Maby I can add something here, some you mentioned in the video. Basically like being on a diet, to prevent hearburn issues, avoid excess salt, sugars, and fats. This could be from say chips, soda, coffee and meat . Avoid spicy foods, like ketchup, mustard, vinegar, etc. Wether or not cayenne pepper helps or not is not yet clear to me. Making the body more alkaline (higher ph) helps this condition and is healthy for anyone.

  • just out of curiosity, do you use any special pesticide cleaners to clean the fruits and vegetables that you can't find organic or from local produce in the stores? any suggestions on this from anyone would be much appreciated....thanks and your vids are awesome!!

  • What about buckwheat (starch) and fruit is that ok?

  • @rui27marne No, you should probably split those into 2 meals.
