Why put a shitty round in a good gun? It's got alittle more power on impact but you got to be within 200 yards. If you don't like .223/.556 buy a 6.8 upper not a crappy 7.62.

@ZombieJudd AR15s were chambered in 7.62x39 since the early to mid 80s, that was way before the 6.8 was out, back then you could buy 7.62x39 ammo for 4 cents per round. That was why they made this rifle back then. It does make no sense now of course.

Way to much recoil in your 7.62x39 full-auto rifle!
