and you buy consoles for the games, the wii has several awesome games like conduit, lost in shadow, conduit 2, kirbys epic yarn, muramasa demon blade, metroid prime corruption... i havent even mentioned the games you mentioned. :P
Xbox kinect works much better, it's newer and its not used for games only, but also for real life modern robots, to give robots eyes (look it up, if you don't believe). So Kinect is definitely better than the trash motion controllers which nintendo has created.
But I don't like those way of gaming, give me classic controllers, those are more relaxing way of gaming.

I have SNES, N64, DS, GC. So I used to be a Nintendo fan, but then I realized the Wii(and 3DS) sucked, so I skipped the Wii and bought a Xbox 360 and I'm enjoying it.
Xbox Live is worth, because I mostly play with friends online in a Party group, and when we are playing we are talking about tactic to win from our opponents/enemies, which is very fun and necessary in games like gears of war 3.
I don't know why someone has removed your comment, but i know what you said, so yes tactic is very crucial if you want to win an online match...
If someone dies (mostly our weakest m8), he will scout for us and tell us where our opponents are hiding and stuff like that, we also sometimes camp together, (depends of map).

i have both ps3 and xbox 360. my ps3 is older and its still working perfect. my xbox 360 how ever got the E74 and is dead. allso all my old playstations are still working perfect after 10years of hard gameing. my xbox didint even make it 2 years. i never even moved them after i got eather system so the 360 wasitn even abused and it still died. imo ps3 > 360 due to it wont break on you. oh and ps3 has great games as well 360 only has halo over the ps3 so no lose in games for me

I got a Wii and a 360, along with a PS2. But PC is my favorite for FPS games and games that requires a lot of aiming. Rally and sports are much better on consoles.
Console war is stupid, EVERYONE has a different opinion.

i have both ps3 and xbox 360. my ps3 is older and its still working perfect. my xbox 360 how ever got the E74 and is dead. allso all my old playstations are still working perfect after 10years of hard gameing. my xbox didint even make it 2 years. i never even moved them after i got eather system so the 360 wasitn even abused and it still died. imo ps3 > 360 due to it wont break on you. oh and ps3 has great games as well 360 only has halo over the ps3 so no lose in games for me

I got my ps3 for 200 euros. if the ps4 cant play ps3 games anymore I probably will still play on my ps3 in 10 years. that makes 20 euros a year. sure that u wont pay more than me? :P and yeah u havnt touched your pc for a year wow, I havent touched my gamecube for 8 years when it comes to hardware and I still play on it cause there r still games on it I havent played yet. and I payed also 200 euros for it.

You forgot to mention that the Wii is the CHEAPEST, followed by 360, then PS3 at most expensive.
Parents don't want to dole out money on the best system most of the time, they just want a cheaper console because they don't understand the real core information when it comes to gaming.
For instance, I've seen more than a few parents think that the Wii and the 360 have all the same games.
It makes me laugh at how ignorant some people can be.
