maybe "slave of life" so.. then gun is great solution, but for real if you have to working for somone you are an a slave... then most of us are slaves;)
I actually put no effort, or thought, into my arguments. But how can I base a constructive argument, on your disturbingly idiotic, prejudice filled and ignorant view?
I must repeat, you are the prime example of how most people see Americans. Just plain dumb.
Get out of 1800's. In the post modern society, there is no place for pride. Only truth.
truth is nothing like a helmet you can put on your head mind you from thee inside there is nothing like truth you know there are only meaning like mean thinks left you got right~~~~~~~~
You speak of ignorance. But please, read that comment again.
There is no reason why the Faroese need a army. As a province of Denmark, a lot of danish military is situated around the islands.
I don't claim to be different, none faroese claim to be different. The flag isn't danish. It has a cross, yes, just like the danish, finnish, norwegian, icelandic etc.
And the fact that the islands aren't well known, what kind of dumb argument is that?
This song is a mixture of "modern" music mixed together with the traditional Faroese music. Fuglakvæði is a very old song handed down through generations and is told by way of the chaindance, a tradition done by the Faroe Islanders for over a millennia. thegirlofthemelody : Oh we do exist, we just don't advertise it ;) (you might want to check out "Týr" if you like the old folk songs spiced up a bit)
Oh fuck off! Fuglakvæði is not HANDED DOWN THROUGH THE GENERATIONS. It was written (in print!) around the 18-hundreds by Poul Nolsøe. They do do it in a "chain dance" styleeee, but that's more because it was the style at the time. The idea behind the lyric is that the greedy and reckless birds represent the (Danish) government officals at the time when the Faroes were opressed by Denmark. It's basically satire. So there.
maybe the guys of the band could've got organized and sang together. an appropriate reverb along with a doubling of voices can help to make it sound like a folkspeople singing

Fyrsta dag, ið ljómin víkur,
er mær tað at telja,
skúgvalist ella falkaleik,
hvilkin skulu vær velja?
Fuglin í fjøruni
við sínum nevi reyða
mangt eitt dýr og høviskan fugl
hevur hann greitt frá deyða.
Fuglin í fjøruni.

We know as much about what happens around the world, as anyone. Everything from the war, to your all precious hollywood movie stars.
You really live up to your country's social prejudice. Congratz, you're dumbest person I've seen so far on the internet. Redneck.

Just look north from Scotland on the map. It's easy to miss, because of the small size.
