    Not really. Maybe someday it'll manifest as something worth releasing, but as it stands the whole project is a steaming pile of shit.

    How is it a steaming pile of shit? Its the only working Zelda model viewer I know of, sure it is not all that polished but its still very usable and user friendly. I think you did a great job on it, and honestly I think it warrants a further release. Is there any possibility you can upload it somewhere, all the old links where taken down for obvious reasons, and I would love to be able to use it again.

    No, they were loaded from a common animation bank; typically used for various town NPCs.

  • @cooliscool I ask because object humans animations were inaccessible until recently and I assumed this model was as old as that one and had the same issues

    I assume that object_human is older than object_oa2; however, it's not at all clear how they correlate on the development timeline, as there are no screenshots of this Zora in any prerelease build. Human's animation data is stored in a different format than used in the final, but they're all there. I was planning on decoding & implementing it but never got around to it. xdaniel seems to have done it for his viewer, which is quite nice. :)

    I should add that this zora may not necessarily be extremely old based solely on its primitiveness - it could have just been one of the many things that was scrapped long before it was finished. It has no unique animations, but its hierarchical bone structure is identical to the NPCs which use the common animation file "object_oe_anime," which allows those animations to be applied to the old zora model.

  • Cooliscool Why does everyone say Zeth Alkair and Flotonic and spinout and the other looneys are at "modding war"... I love flotonics work as a helper and tutorial guy especially since were under 50 miles away :P and i like spinouts editing stuff so im with everyone but Zeth because he steals flotonics and possibly spinouts ideas.

  • @Gorilla6602 - First off it wasn't for us "loonies" you wouldn't have the neat tools and documentation and cool hacks that there is, so learn to be a bit more grateful. Second there is no "modding war" who ever told you that is probably delusional. Last, I don't go around stealing ideas, I'm not a mind reader nor do I really talk to anyone.

  • @Gorilla6602 - Dude I've been hacking Zelda for 3 years I loaded the Blue Fairy a long time ago back when I still ran N64Projects, way before Flotonic even started Zelda hacking, and cooliscool did it before I did back at ZSO and the reason I loaded the Blue Fairy wasn't to steal anyone's ideas, it was because the Blue Fairy was part of the Prerelease of OOT and I wanted to restore it, just like I did with Fado, the beta soldier and the other beta elements that are now in my URA Project.

  • @Gorilla6602 - Before Flotonic, Vex, etc and I talked things out and put the past behind us, there was controversy, jealousy, etc between us. Its possible he said it just cause of those feelings. But everything between Flotonic and me are cool now ;D

    Mind uploading/giving me a link to it? All the ones I've gotten from the net are all virus-ed out. Sure, I could use OZMAV, but the interface is horrible. That, and I can actually use UoT :D

    For the most part, yeah. You should check out xdaniel's OZMAV project. In most ways it surpasses UoT.

  • @cooliscool How could you quit? I checked out that program, sure it works, but yours is WAY better. Pleeeeeeeeease continue! Just perfect the newest one because the collision thing doesn't work like it does in the old version. I would greatly appreciate that.

    All OZMAV needs is a friendly GUI. Aside from that, it's loads better than UoT, which makes it hard for me to continue knowing there's a much better project out there which tries to serve the same purpose. I may work on UoT again, but it's far from on my list of priorities. I apologize for that, but I can't afford to dedicate a lot of time to it anymore.

  • Why do the collision fixer (Match collision to graphics) and the graphics fixer (Match graphics to collision) buttons not work? When I click them, they don't do anything, but the .exe files are in the folder...

  • If your talking about Link's ACTUAL actor file, then its ovl_player_actor

    If you talking about his model file, there are two depending on what version of link you want: object_link_boy object_link_child

    Assuming your talking about the Debug Rom

    Newest versions are always at the SVN repository (link in description). The latest version supports animation playback.
