  • man fucking IT was scary i was peeing and taking showers with my door open.

  • Oh. My. God. Large Marge was the most frightening thing in the entire freakin' world when I was a kid. Scared me to DEATH!!!! Finally conquered my fear and looked up this video. Scary Bitch...

  • I know it's not a movie but I would've put Michael jacksons thriller on that list

  • Gmork from NeverEnding Story, hands down.

  • When i was in 4th grade, before leaving to go to a dance at school, I saw a scene from stephen kings it when the clown kills the kid with the paper boat. That freaked the hell out of me, and even though ive seen the review, its still fucking creepy..and im 14 now. Oh and the snake from beetlejuice always scared me shitless

  • Beetlejuice ftw!!! :D

  • Well I wasn't born when most of these movies were out this is nothing compared to when you 5 watching saw instead of watching barbie and the nutcracker

  • @MangaPICTURE idk. I respectfully disagree. I found that clown hilarious. I read the book and the book conjured scarier images in my opinion. My #1 choice would be REAGAN FROM THE EXORCIST!!!!!!!!!

  • Wait, who was Large Marge again? I'm too scared to look back.

  • Sean Connery also sang in Dr. No.

  • Large Marge out of that list for me was the scariest.

  • Ahh, classic Nostalgia Critic!

  • The banshee still scares the shit out of me

  • Lol I didn't get scared by #1!

But yet I get scared by a cheesy horror movie.

  • Gmork from the NeverEnding Story? Good god, that thing gave me nightmares for a week when I was 10!

  • HE SHOULD OF PUT LARGE MARGE AS # 2

  • Not every creepy image was in that tunnel scene. He forgot Lady Gaga having sex with Justin Bieber while the latter's masturbating to Davey Jones humping Jar Jar Binks against his own will.

  • OH MY GOD. I've been terrified of large marge for years, I only saw that scene for like three seconds as a kid, and I' can't go to my garage without seeing her.. Now I know what it is. WHY DID THEY HAVE TO SCAR ME FOR LIFE?

  • I didn't find most of those scary

Probaly because I only saw couple of the things on the list as a kid

But that one at the end didn't get a reaction out of me at all

Now the screaming book from Harry potter

Took me about 4 viewings to get through

  • i say he re-makes this episode (since he wasent as funny as he was now)

  • OR HELL EVEN #2

  • HE SHOULD HAVE PUT LARGE MARGE AS #1

  • The clown from Poltergeist made me always run and jump into bed, 'cause I was so scared he was under my bed and would grab my legs! And that part still makes me jump sometimes when I rewatch it!

  • Ironically, it's easily the clown from Stephen Kings It for me (and surprisingly many others). No matter how dumb that movie is seen as an adult, watching it as a kid was a whole different story. Holy shit.

  • @MangaPlCTURE I totally agree! Pennywise the Clown scared me so badly as a child, that he ruined clowns for me forever! Even though my siblings say I should go back and rewatch it to see how silly it is now, I just remember the horrible memories I've retained since childhood and I can't bring myself to do it!

  • @MangaPlCTURE dosnt help that the first & last time i saw it was when i was 2 years old....

  • @MangaPlCTURE: Totally agree with you. Except that movie still scares me even to this day. I watched it once like 11 years ago, haven't gotten the balls to put it back in.

I'm actually hearing rumors of a possible remake. *shudders*

  • 1:43 I can't think of anyone who WOULD want to talk about that again...

  • where's the sound??

  • The snake isn't the scariest part of beetlejuice. That's either the creepy-ass waiting room or the bit where the woman rips of her own face.

  • sorry to triple post, but who the f*ck came up with the concept that simply pulling the cover over your hear and closing your eye REALLY F*CKING TIGHT would keep you safe but sure enough EVERY kid does it

  • On top of the they said "you can see a picture of the devil on the door, wait to night time and ask me to get something out of it.......MAN HELL NO!....what raises top wtf thats creepy notch is i heard scratching noise on the roof....AT 1 O' CLOCK IN THE F'ING MORNING......wtf pigeons are out at night....then what is....oh i forgot the other 2 scariest are ...THE ATTIC AND THE BASEMENT....AAAAHHHHHHHH!....me go down there at night ....MAN HELL NO!

  • @Holloway6151975 The door devil is from a 1973 horror movie. It's on the kitchen counter. What movie am I talking about?

  • @jazzykid1 I'm not going to lie i research the key words you gave me and came up with The Exorcist?

  • @Holloway6151975 Correct!

  • @jazzykid1

quick question? What movie have )N on the table and Mar(........hint its a spin-off from another movie. Can you guess it?

  • @Holloway6151975

had mar( on a piece of balled up paper....my bad ...left out info

  • @Holloway6151975 I'm lost. I don't know much about movies...I had to watch several horror films for school last year...since then the only movies I've watched are from "Nightmare On Elm Street", plus a rewatch of "Psycho".

  • @jazzykid1 its ok the answer was paranromal Entity. Not to give a spoiler to those that didnt watch the mom think she talking to her deceased husband and end up being possesed in her sleep while auto writing. what she write on the paper half is written and the other half ends up of the table which spells out MARON

  • The #1 child fear that follows all the way to adulthood and beyond has got to be THE CLOSET....wtf you try be a scared kid and sleep in a dark ass room with the closet door open ....you scream at the top of your lungs because you cant get to the damn light switch or lamp fast enough....why do you think kids ask for a night light. my family scared me for life when they said they saw shawdow figures with in the hall way and have the light on from then on....THANKS ALOT NOW I SLEEP WITH A LIGHT ON!

  • I read the book return to oz... I read nearly the entire oz series (there's a series? U ask. Yes there is my child)

  • Omigosh wen I first saw willy wonks & the chocolate factory I got so scared duringthe tunnel part I hid! & refused 2 come back out til the part was over... & the. I had nightmaresXD

  • wtf that jaffare guy should of won he has the face of the devil

  • Some of these things are creepy. Not the Witch, and the Tunnel's OK. The song thing is very scary, but bearable. I never finished watching the movie, since the Large Marge scene traumatized me. Just seeing Judge Doom was the last straw (I am NEVER going to watch "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", thank you very much for scaring me out of it, Doug!). These things are worse than "Nightmare On Elm Street", one of the all-time best horror films. And these don't have an awesome protagonist like Nancy, etc.

  • WRONG 8D SEAN CONNARY SINGS IN JAMES BOND DOCTOR NO!!!!!

  • I never even watched Peewee Herman and I thought he was the scariest thing in the world. Hell, I never even made it past the opening credits. I'm a huge horror fan now that I'm grown and pretty tough to scare at this point... But you could not pay me to sit though more than a couple of seconds of Peewee Herman. He creeps me out, man.

  • That Marge scene reminded me of the car scene at the start of the Twilight Zone Movie.

  • you guys don't KNOW what is creepy...

if you would watch the movies that are being shown in my country, you would DIE from a heart attack! :D

  • I just found the Wicked Witch hilariously stupid

  • return to ozz is the scary film of all

  • The creepy levitating lady from House on Haunted Hill is way scarier than that banshee.

  • 7:49 Uh, Critic? Didn't Sean Connery sing in Dr No, his first James Bond flick? Oops. BTW, I'd personally add that scene from Fellowship of the Ring where Bilbo goes all Gollum on Frodo for a second and tries to grab the ring. That mask Ian Holm wears there is the stuff of nightmares.

  • Wrong video.

  • 10 made me cry for two weeks straight.

  • @nuclearzeon Rango is more wierd than scary. still a brilliant film tho

  • @AbbyMay135 The fact that they're kids movies makes it even creepier

  • 10 used to not scare me but then.... I WATCHED THIS DAMN VIDEO

  • OMGEEE!! I cant believe u forgot ine think!!! The very first Alice in Wonderland movie!! Dude im like almost a teenager and that scene with that dragon monster type thing still creeps me out. And yes, i do watch horror movies... O__o

  • number 9, on the footage it says seven

  • why upload somthing that isint yours thatrs stealling you shoud go to jail

  • @thenextmillbrooks I agree, I still can't handle the parts with him

  • Christopher Llyod terrified me in this scene as a kid, I wouldn't even watch the end of the movie until I got older

  • God, Gene Wilder is awesome

  • I saw parts of that peewee movie, but I never saw large marge. When I saw her scary face today, I howled with laughter.

  • Speaking of Judge Doom you should review Who Framed Roger Rabbit

  • Large Marge scared the hell out of me at 6 years old

  • the banshee is so not scary

  • Fuck covering eyes and hiding under cough... I go into a black hole and go under a white bowl!

    ......Too random

  • Oh come on now, the banshee isn't even scary at all! Look at Giygas and Beiber

  • Large marge still scares the hell out of me

  • the wicked witch acually remind me of me kindergarten teacher. she fucking spanked me in class, well it was sorta my fault for accidentaly flipping a kid off XD

  • @legopivotboy A third grade teacher dressed as the witch when I was the kid.

  • The clown from Poltergeist is by far the scariest of these. Creepiest part of the movie too.

  • He should have had the scene with the creepy "wolf" from Never-Ending story, that thing scared the SHIT out of me.

  • How did CARE BEARS make it on the list but not the clown from The Brave Little Toaster?!

  • If you guys think that kids films nowadays can't be scary go watch Rango. :)

Or even better, Kung Fu Panda 2.

  • Oh CRAP he's right! Darby O'Gill was a great movie but that banshee scared the SHIT outta me as a kid

  • Kane from Poltergeist 2 is head and shoulders above these

  • Comment removed

  • What about the Hell sequence from All Dogs Go To Heaven? That scene f*cked me up as a kid.

  • @ThePhantom135 That should have been on this list D:

  • What about When a Stranger Calls? That was a scary movie. And,don't forget The Blair Witch Project.I had nightmares for weeks. And The Haunting in Connecticut.I almost had an anxiety attach after watching that.

  • @105maddie105 he only includes films from his childhood modtly

  • @CJR33D Ah.Makes sense now.

  • I remember watching darby o gill at school one day

  • the child catcher scares the fuck out of my older sister, and she's 19

  • 20:54 10.12.2011 79,797 views

  • Honestly, I never freaked out during the Willy Wonka part. I just thought it was weird :/

  • TRIVIA: did you know that the clown from poltergeist actually cuts off his oxygen once!

  • no watership down?

  • oh my god. tunnel scene scared me so badly.

ok ok - still does >.>

  • At 5:49 is the funniest scary face of all time.

  • #9 cracks me up

  • Banshee wasn't even scary at all! Justin Beiber should have been #1.

  • and the extorcist ladie

  • Two moments he forgot:

1: Charlie's dog hell nightmare from All Dogs Go To Heaven.

2: That goddam clown from The Brave Little Toaster.

  • Also, Sean Connery sings a little in Dr No ;P

  • Holy shit judge doom scared the PISS out of me!!!

  • Large Marge always used to scare the crap out of me as a child

  • Headless horseman still kinda creeps me out

  • he should have done the thing

  • Judge Doom scared the living shit out of me.

  • number 12 the opening to the twilight zone movie when dan aykroyd gets freaky!!!!!!

  • #1? She wasn't even scary at all.

  • number 9 POKE IT IN THE EYE !

  • He should do a sequel with the nightmare scene from Brave Little Toaster featuring the clown from Hell. Good God, that thing was fcked up.

  • the bad guy from care bears at 3:03 looks a lot like large marge.creepy

  • When I was growing up I only watched the older childrens movies, because they were willing to do stuff like scare us. Now that I'm old enough to watch adult movies I've tried adult horror, but I've quickly found that, with few exceptions, modern horror is less scary than old children movies. Hence I've gone to old horror. Well that's my testimony. I hope that someday movie makers will take risks again.

  • "Holy fuck what is that is that" Best part i loled so hard

  • Freddy Krueger?

  • I had to skip that Poltergeist scene. I HATE that. It gave me nightmares for about a month.

  • I thought that the Evil Queen in Snow White was scary

  • I dont really think these are scary xD im not scared easy of this stuff, it looks so fake x3. My number one scary movie thing would be the grudge i think xD

  • Where's Charlie's hell nightmare from All Dogs Go To Heaven?

  • OOOOHHHH MAN!!!! large marge...that face! nightmares!!

  • that fucking clown!

  • All those on your list that I saw as a kid (like most of them) never scared me. I was not easily scared XD But yehh, good list :P and I totally remember the Care Bears one ^^

  • I get scared watching horror films. Like some just have gross stuff (Sleepy Hollow...it was defined as horror in my Media Studies class so don't say it's not!) But the Seventies and Eighties stuff is freaky. For example, "The Exorcist". I will NEVER think of demons the same way again!

  • What about chernabog from fantasia? He's scary as hell!

  • goosebumps, SLAPPY THE FUCKING DUMMY

  • Whenever I see the Child Catcher...ugh. I just feel gross, like I wasn't supposed to see him. He's gross.

  • 5:50 Holy shit she is bac!!k 20 years later that still scares me!!!

  • Good list!

  • Scariest moment as a kid and as an adult is in 'E.T.' when ET is in the bathroom of Elliot's house and he's all white. Still gives me nightmares.

  • @LilacElf8582 I don't remember anything from E.T movie as it's been more than 13 years that I didn't see it. THEN HOW DOES I REMEMBER CHUNK OF THIS SCENE ?! All I remember is white and that it's in ET. I mean seriously, wtf

  • 0:22 Yea, like super saiyan 3. xD

  • That fucking clown should have been number 1. That scared me even when I was seventeen, and it was pretty much the only scary part of that movie.

  • For the movies I did see, I wasn't scared at all.

  • All of this stuff makes me laugh. By the way, if you got flagged, sorry, I pressed the wrong button.

  • Wht about The Grinch and his creepy ass smile

  • #10 willy wonka tunnel scene.......... scary? when i was a kid i didn't get what was going on. now knowing.........wow.......scary. :)

  • The most memorable scary nostalgic moment for me would definitely be Charlie's nightmare about hell from All Dogs Go To Heaven, now that was a pretty disturbing scene!

  • Slimer from Ghostbusters got me as a child. Hell I'm 32 and to this day I still can't look down a dark hallway and not see that little spud flying down the hall at me lol. Great scene and great movie

  • What about the Clown from Hell in "Brave Little Toaster"? It just comes out of NOWHERE, is surrounded by huge FLAMES, is a FIREFIGHTER, and has SHARP TEETH. And all it does is say "run" in a creepy voice! But it still scares the shit out of everyone. Just...just why? WHY?

  • @IWillBeHers The same could be said of almost the entire movie...

  • My dad actually LAUGHED when he saw Large Marge.

  • @SuperMarkerComicBro I do too.

  • wonka was talking about how the people in the movie itself are going down one by one.

  • Comment removed

  • was i the only kid not even the least bit spooked by the wonka tunnel of death?

  • @vikingdrizzit No, you're not. I first saw it as a kid and I actually thought it was more weird than it was scary.

  • Really? No Coachman from Pinocchio? That did me damage during my childhood.

  • @XgbladerRyo Especially since The Coachman looks exactly like an evilier Jack Nicholson.

  • The bug room from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. There are tons of scary moments in that movie, but for an insectophobe like me, that room filled with every bug imaginable was the ultimate nightmare, and I could not watch the movie any further.

  • What about The Wheekers from Return to Oz?

  • #5 he looks like Micheal Jacksons evil twin

  • he should have put large marge as number 1

  • Sean Connery singed a little bit in DR NO. I cant remember how it went, all I remember is "Something, something, something, Under the coconut treeee."

  • Why isn't Willy Wonka's first.

    That shit still scares me.

  • I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Sleepy Hollow.

  • that stinks i was not scared at all of this things i seen scarier things than these you should post more scarier things so ya

  • @sailorsaturn90 Watch it on the cinema with the lights out thinking your going to watch a kids movie when you where a kid, THEN it would be scary!

  • Lmao @ Willy Wonka scene... that is so true. I was wondering the exact same thing when I watched that part.

  • im 12 years old,and NO movies for kids now have anything even the least scary,if only media had the guts they did back when NC grew up,you may not have known this but ALOT of kids (including me) are really into horror movies (and im talking R rated horror movies) probably because our stuff we grow up with is so crappy that we have to watch adult stuff! (yes, even WE are aware of how stupid our crap is)

  • @scaryguy004

Don't know if really 12 years old

Or just old guy trying to give us hope that kids are not (all) dumb these days.

  • @rodsk8dude dude just watch my videos, and really WE'RE the dumb ones?

theres alot of adults who tell me to get off youtube that im "too young" to go on youtube, but its doing something to me that absaloutly no parent seems to be doing....PREPARING ME FOR THE REAL WORLD!

  • @scaryguy004

People get DUMBER as they get OLDER, everyone is kind of dumb. Actually, YOU are not dumb, but seeing how certain things (crappy new cartoons, that [in]famous internet celebrity which just by saying it's name, a flame war starts) get so much popularity, it's just normal to people assume ALMOST all kids are dumb these days. I just can't say that it was the same thing when I was a kid because I can't remember my childhood, just now and then a small blurry flash comes to my mind.

  • @rodsk8dude wait, you said everyone is a kind of dumb.....FINALLY someone who understands the world!

  • @scaryguy004 You're twelve years old, and what is this?

  • @Krimxen2KV what is what?

  • @scaryguy004 Really? Well I'm 17, I don't know if there's much difference...but I reckon we've all be desensitized. I really don't react to ANY of the scary moments listed here, and I've watched most of them when I was a child.

  • @scaryguy004 agreed

  • @scaryguy004 soo pretty nice comment from a 12 year old! totally subscribing your channel

  • @scaryguy004 if thats true, please start a petition against just about every single disney show, a bunch of nickelodean... and i think cartoon network is learning its lesson :D

  • To me the scariest thing I saw as a kid was Monstro from Pinocchio. Even today that damn whale scares the crap outta me. Even on the Disney ride I was terrified to see a large black whale with huge, sharp white teeth coming at you. My god even the Storybook Ride at Disneyland has Monstro and I found that freaky.

  • My personal scariest nostalgic moment: The Spirit of the Harvest from Courage the Cowardly Dog.

  • @JukeDenton What about that ghost that screams " return the slab or suffer my curseeeeeee" That bastard scares me even to this day.
