Hello Klaus can you help me how to configure winscp to connect to ubuntu server 10.04, I install ubuntu server 10.04 on Virtual box and i run it on WIndows XP computer, but I am unable to connect with winscp into it

Make sure, you chose "Bridged Adapter" in VirtualBox network settings.

Also make sure, sshd is running in the guest, if not $ sudo apt-get install ssh

@KlausMoedinger Thanks I done this in virtual box and installation was succesfull.But still with winscp I cannot connect.In Winscp I put into Session window this: Host name 192.168.1.10 user name :root password:alpine .Private key I left blank and Protocol is SFTP and checkmarked is Allow SCP fallback. Is this ok?Winsc is still unable to connect to Virtual box
