The lips should not be that hard. Always think about the angle of the direction. When 's go in and when's go out... Your English is fine, don't need to say sorry.
The pink color actually is crimson red. And the red pencil I used is call "Animation Pencil" or "Col-erase Pencil". People asked me the same thing in my "motiono" account :)

About the solitary hair for the baby, this is something call "Character Design". Sorry to say that, but you have to use your own imagination and try to increase your knowledge of art before you say something.

But I am not sure why you said "the baby one is not very good", please use your "Professional Opinion" to tell me why you said that. I would be glad to hear.
This lesson seems more for the intermediate, or for those who've already mastered the basic details and perspective. Not very good for a beginner.
PS Noses suck. (Mine keep reminding me of the noses from the Avatar movie, the one with blue aliens.) D:
