@JoyousinJesus Thank you finally somebody who appreciates me for waking up at 6am every morning not knowing if I'm coming back home to see my kids and my wife if you ever get a ticket and GA you give Georgia state patrol a call and ask to speak with GSP 983. Sgt. Of Patrol
@pearldrumsarecool Wow, thank you! Strangely I did get pulled over in Georgia once, for going too slow! Ha :) My car was very old and I didn't want to push it. The kind officer gave me a warning. I love ALL police officers for what you do for us day in and day out, the heroes of America. THANK YOU FOR BEING SO BRAVE AND SELFLESS! God bless you and your family.
Agreed, it's not the voltage that can kill you its the amperage. I got tazed today by the X26 full force for 5 seconds. I'm a police officer and let me tell you it was worth it, i now know what it will feel like if I ever (hopefully not) have to use it. Tazers are so misunderstood by the liberal media, they want to justify crimes when the officers are acting under the circumstances they are in and when subjects present a danger to themselves or society and will not surrender, here comes tazer
These guys should stop covering their asses by repeatedly saying tasering is safe or by showing video footage of cops/newsman/common people on the street/ministers being tasered and slumping to the ground where I don't see anyone jumping on the testers being weighted down after the fact.
They murdered the man at YVR. SO FUCK YOU MOTHER FUCKERS
A current of 0.020 amps or more is capable of fatally stopping the human heart. It's just a matter of luck that the current didn't get through your heart.
The amperage is actually 0.002. It would be worse to get shocked by a christmas light. It does not disrupt the electric current of your heart. Actually, the current travels through your whole body.
I agreed that current travels through the whole body. But paths of electrons are undetermined. and also random. Electric energy is quantized. Energy does not divide/spread out. What DOES spread thin, is the probability of the electron getting across your heart. (which may or may not be stopped.) Current is proportional to the Intensity. Probability is related to Intensity-Squared. so, you can have an electron though a point at E higher than average.

1 amp can kill, the x26 delivers 0.004 amps and 50,000 volts

(reply-1 continue ..... )
What you can say for sure is this current, 0.002A yields small chance that it will affect the heart, though, chances are there.
This may sound gibberish to you. You may need to understand some quantum theory.
A shock to a heart is a stimulant. It can resuscitate a heart but it has side-effects.
So. in other words, no, you probably WON'T get kill, although you may.
So I'm not saying you are completely wrong. I just want to point out that it could happen.
