  • Linux systems do not echo password characters. Just type in the user id and password you entered when you installed the system

  • So, if you want to install ubuntu in the Widows partition, use vmware server. If in the mac partition, choose vmware fusion

  • Do you mean you are using a mac and aready have fusion virtua machine running windows? If so, no probem, you can have more than one virtual machine. Or, do you mean your host system is windows? If so, see my other series using vmware server for windows.
