I've been waiting to see this movie for months, I had forgotten the name of it. , it just came on cable over the weekend and it made my day. Now I know the name and can go buy it ! The Samurai is a badass! I think he picked up the wrong sword cause they focus on it when he drops it as if sending a message to the viewer. I wish he would had won!

Hey!He won the fight because the samurai didn't use his sword,but an inferior one-with inferior quality,I mean(1:56 and 2:38).If that didn't happened,the result could have been other.

@kolos2006 actually, he picked the samurai picked his own sword, 2:27 he doesn't have a sword, after killing that ninja, (left the sword inside the ninja's body) and at 2:43, he looks his own sword and picked it up. I know he wouldn't fight kinjo without it..

but the fight scene between Takeda and Kinjo....it was too short it didn't showcase their respective talents with the blade...should of been at least 5 minutes longer..and Takeda only lost because his sword broke,if he had his sword that Oshima had made, he would of won,it was only the inferior craftsmanship of Kinjo's sword maker that allowed him to lose.
