Oh by the way... Have thought of getting a Breloom? It would work wonders against two of the Elite Four members (it could have also been incredibly useful against Juan's Lapras, since he could have OHKOd him).
.P.S.: By the way on the other comment I wanted to say that Lapras is a tank (really high HP and high defense and special defense)... Man, I wish youtube allowed to edit comments...
Kingdra is one tough cookie: its dual type is one of the best in the whole saga (only weak to dragon...and since you're doing a mono grass you couldn't have a treecko with dragon moves), all around stats, impressive movelist... One of the best water types and a pretty good dragon type at the same time.
And Lapras is one heck of a type able to wipe out most of the grass types with ease.
A pokemon with nearly no weakness with double team and rest. Yea, pretty much any pokemon like that that is a dedicated double team spammer is beyond cheap.

Now I see what you meant on Norman's video.
