  • could you make it more difficult? maybe instead of one color paper use clear paper.

  • soo cute

  • whats the song

  • @legomastr1 Bach Cello sonata suite number 1 Prelude. It's fantastic.

  • :P you know, i think that i would rather kill myself then attempt to make this

  • thumbs up if u watched the whole thing

  • *Stare at rotating origami* @.@ *Faint*

  • Ok... I know how to make one of that triangles but I don't know how to fit them...

  • but... are there any rules about going inside / on/ out on the CENTER triangle? :O

  • Center triangle?

  • ... i meant center TETRAHEDRON. and... one request. can you make a vid on the TEN intersecting tetrahedra? nobody has a vid about that. :D ty

  • Bach - Cello Suite No.1 i-Prelude ; )

  • lol you made it confuse me more.....

  • just trail & error than ;)

  • Broken link....

  • Tx, link repaired ;)

  • u put a boring music , so it make the video even much boring....

    but nice instruction!

  • @ducktopia301

    I like the music

  • hey off the subject but wat does your youtube user name mean??????

  • just google "barbapappa" ;)

  • Do you have to use 1:3 ratio for this?

  • Yep, just have a look at one of the How to vids ;)

  • yes. u need 10 square sheets of paper same size. and cut them all into thirds. so you have 30 thirds of squares

  • votate a la verga

primero di como se hacen los triangulos

    pendejo

  • lol BORINGAMI xD haha

  • tuboltuboltuboltuboltuboltuboltuboltuboltuboltuboltuboltubotuboltuboltuboltuboltuboltuboltuboltuboltuboltuboltuboll

  • k thanks

  • what song is this?

  • Bach - Cello Suite #1 Prelude ;)

  • do you have to glue them or what

  • For this one no glue is required ;)

  • it would be easier to under stand if u made one with each pyrimed difrrent couler soz bad spellin

  • took me almost 6 hours to complete one. I dont have pre-cut origami square papers so I cut made myself the 6x2 in strips. Folding the beams took me a little under 2 hours. Assembly is so hard but perseverance is worth the finished product. My kids love it so much they want mini-tetrahedrons to adorn our christmas tree this year... oh boy!

  • Plenty of time till Xmas! :D

  • this is soooooooooooo evil i gotta make one for school

  • i couldn't insert the 4th pyramid

until i saw a helpful video

    hard!

  • It still takes me some time to fit the 3rd have to give it a careful look and thorough check each time... ;)

  • the music appears in evangelion am i right? i cant remember the name... it seems to take ages to finish this. i might attmemt to try it once.

  • Bach Cello Suite I is used a lot in commercials, movies etc. The folding does not take a long time, putting it together and esp. fitting 3rd does take me some time ;)

  • I've been working on this for about an hour or so, and I'm not sure about some of what i did.

For starters, when i connected the beams, they wouldn't stay so i used glue which worked ok. Looking at other videos, I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong because they dont use glue. I got the first two tetrahedras woven inside each other but I,m pretty sure i did it wrong. i can hold the bottom of one, and in a 2deminsional point of view it looks like this

    \ / \ / \ / / \ / \

    / \

  • oops....that didn't work

just try to imagine two pyramids with the tops chopped off a little ways down, one on top of the other on the cut

  • Not sure what you mean exactly with you sketch... O_o any how in my first one the beam connections did not stick properly either... you simply need some practice in my view.

  • this looks amazing but so complicated! i will try to make this (and probably fail at first), ty for posting i love ur vids!! =)

  • Can you write out in the comments the rules? I'm tired of watching those three minutes a thousand times with my computer freezing! I feel like a DJ...

  • Can't write yourself ? ;)

  • Sorry to bother you again but I can't do it, I already got 3 triangles but i don't know were to put the other ones. Can you please help me!

  • This one is not for beginners... but just consider the rules as described in the vid AND in addition to those rules in the vid look for the which tip (or vertex) is poking through one of the faces of another tetrahedron, now look carefully that the beams you insert next do not go through the face of that tetraderon twice anywhere. Hope that helps... Good luch again :D

  • Thanks!

  • lolz i like wat u did with th words extreme origami

  • man I have already done four five interlocking tetrahedras but in all of theme i had to use glue. its impossible to fix without glue geez!!!

  • I have to admit that the 1st one I made I used tape... but all the ones I made later on I did not use tape, glue or anything else. It is just a matter of practise ... I do it a little different than extreme origami. I completely flatten the beam when fitting the 3rd and pop the completed tetrahedron corner back into shape.

  • bahh

  • extreme origami video is more understandable if you know what i mean

u should have showed us waht the steps were

    step by step

  • Hate double work ... just click the link in my vid description (Thomas Hull diagram) or watch extreme origami's vid

  • Rule number one doesn'm make sense. So you split the 5 tetraheda into pairs ... 2+2+...

Doesn't matter, I understood it anyways. Nice work and nice vid. Thanks for sharing.

  • That is a matter of interpretation...but you can see it as 5x4 "pairs" of a traingle and tetrahedron tip. More important is that you can still mess up following these rules as it is possible to fit the 3rd terahedron as if you are creating the mirror image of the one you started out making!

  • hey um does it still work if i accidentally cut th paper into quarters insted of thirds?

  • Nope... will look like it melted ;)

  • :O

    This is amazing.

    5* are not enough!

  • Grazie mille Dan!! :)

  • You're welcome.

Looks like you know some italian!

  • how can it be boring n awesome, i luv it, no boring, totally awesome

  • Just making the 30 beams for the 5 tetraheda is very boring, putting it to gether is the fun part and watching it after completing is indeed awesome!!

  • i thought your did sister do the beams

or was this just some advice?

what should i do in case i dont have a sister?

  • Probably folding the 30 beams yourself!

  • og get a dimwitted friend 2 do it tht usually works 4 me

  • its a rlly gud vid but id like 2 c a step by step 4m u cusur vids r always clear

  • Who knows ... but is not in the top 10 of my list of projects ;)

  • :D yep good idea! but tell him to cut 3rds instead of quarters ;)

  • Good tips! Those rules will be really helpful for people. I'd never really recognised that myself... 5 stars! Thanks for the vid response

  • Thanks !! I can imagine people having trouble with this oxymoronous piece of origami. Especially since my joints were quite cumbersome (they often came loose, probably due to my sloppy folds...) Your video made it seem so easy to make the joints. Boring and awesome origami at the same time, thanks a lot for sharing!!! ;D
