  • Hey who holds the top speed record Oyea ford gt with its small 5.4 engine

  • I would say,fordgtx1....

  • @mrfuckricers No there is no site, but look at what Mopar is offering now...a 700 and 800 crate motor direct. That tells you something.

  • Remember everyone, the Ford GT has a 5.4 and the Viper has the 8.4 engine. Yet the GT is still faster. And to add to that, you could stick basicaly any size motor in a GT and it would probably handle better since its a rear-engine-car. A modernised 460 V8 would be nice.

  • @1BlubeTube Yes the Ford GT has a 5.4. But it's ok that you didn't mention the little thing sitting on top of the motor called a SUPERCHARGER. Which makes a little bit of a difference. Not sure if you know what a supercharger does but in case you don't, it's a power adder like a Twin Turbo, or even NOS. In this case it forces air at a high rate of speed to make it think it's a much larger engine.

  • @ivanrho Yes, I do know, you don't need to lecture me, I'm not retarded. And some Vipers do have Twin-Turbos. Also, a Supercharger, Turbo-Charger and a Turbo(Twin-Turbo) are basicly the same thing. They make the air that is forced in cold which in turn makes the gas ignite better. Its like blowing on a cigarette or sucking the air through a cigarette. The tabaco burns hotter. I do have many years of experience and I know who makes junk cars. Chrysler, Hyundai, Kia, Isuzu-

  • @ivanrho a lot of Ford Model Front-Wheel-Drive-Vehicles, Some GM Vehicles. Fiat isn't to good either. And as far as larger engines are concerned how lage does the engine have to be in a Viper so it can even win a RACE. I meen so what the Ford GT has a Superchager on it. For one thing its heavier than the Viper. I meen get real, I don't think the Ford GT breaks down as much as the Viper. I've seen what Vipers can do, and its not much. Acctualy I take that back, they do crash a lot.

  • @ivanrho And last of all, having a big engine isn't everything.

  • @1BlubeTube True; you can have a smaller motor with Twin Turbos or a SC. I've got many friends that own a Gallardo and have added a TT system to it and I can tell you that those cars are by far the fastest on the street now. I'll be adding a new video soon to show how fast these cars are.

  • @ivanrho Thats not what I was saying, I was saying that since the Ford GT has the small motor, the 5.4, that it shouldn't matter that it has a SUPERCHARGER. The Viper that has the 8.4 Lambo Engine already it has the bigger-engine advantage. If anything the Ford GT has two things going against it, Weight and a Small-Engine.

  • I still have hope for this country, even though I live on the South-Side of Chicago. I'am happy to have started my life in Texas, so I do have something to be proud of.

  • Gt...end of discussion

  • Those two in the Ford GT were probably thinking, what the hell are you looking at? And they were probably thinking; don't hate because we have a better car.

  • The Ford GT is a real American Car.

  • @1BlubeTube A real "American" car originally designed by the British, lol.

  • @kickwagon Yes I know and the Viper's engine was made in Italy. But your right,...at least either car was made in Japan. Although,...I don't have a problem with anything that Japan makes, China neither. Its this country, America's fault that we don't hardly make anything here anymore, you can't blame the Asians for our mishaps. Its when we drop the TAXES on the big compnay's that gives big-businesses a chance to move away so they, the-big-company's don't have to pay decent wages.

  • @1BlubeTube To set the facts straight, the Viper engine is made in America. Period. They are assembled at CAAP, Conner Avenue Assembly Plant, next to where the Vipers are hand assembled. I agree with you that we should support American Made products, that's why I'm happy to support the Dodge Viper, and even more proud that the latest Viper kicked the sh*t out of every single production car out there!! American made of American parts.

  • @ivanrho Then why does the Ford GT and the Vette have a higher top-speed, stock, with smaller-engines?

  • @ivanrho You need to watch some "Motor Trend" and "Road and Track" Videos on here, "youtube". You can't judge cars where someone made a home made video comparing two cars. They are not true tests of two cars, because you never know what one person did as far as modifications and what not. In other words, one car could be totaly stock and the could have every thing done to it to make it fast.

  • @1BlubeTube The US is in trouble. Our whole system is f'ed up and with these last years w Obama printing money, generations to come will pay the price. I'm also tired of this country taxing everything and making it too difficult for a hard working person to make a decent living. The US is owned by China with such a high trade deficit. And that's from so many unions and requirements that make owners of these companies export out the work. I don't see a pretty horizon...

  • @1BlubeTube The Viper's engine is in fact made in the same plant the entire car is. Everything else you said I agree with 100%.

  • @kickwagon Italy or China, OH maybe Mexico, or Canada? Oh thats right in Michigan where they think they can make cars still. And I'am talking about Chrysler Corp.

  • @kickwagon What?? Where did you get that info? Ford wanted to buy Ferrari in the 60s but Ferrari said no. So Ford went out to build a purpose built race car to enter in the 24 Hours of LeMans to beat Ferrari and they did that for 3 years straight.

  • @ivanrho The Ford GT40 was designed by a British company named Lola and built in Britain. Look it up.

  • There's been much talk of the Viper with more HP; I've sat on many meetings where this has been discussed. I'm not at liberty to discuss all the different angles that Chrysler/Fiat is looking at, but I know for a fact, Dodge will NOT take 2nd place with it comes to HP, comparing it to the ZR1. Not that THAT really matters since the 2010 Viper ACR posted a 7:12 on the Nurburgring just as recent as a week to two ago. There's a video online; check it out if you want to see something amazing.

  • @ivanrho The car magazines say different, thats what counts. Of course a 488 Cubic Inch Engine would or in Dodges case, should've been better. If Ford or Chevy made that same engine which was made in Italy, it would have been untouchable for a hundred-years. However, the Dodge Viper still has trouble beating the Vette and the Ford GT.

  • @1BlubeTube Dude, what do you mean the Viper has a hard time beating the Corvette and Ford GT? Do yourself a favor and google 2011 Dodge Viper Nurburgring and explain to me how they ship 2 Vipers from a dealer in Texas to set the new world record on this track. And where on earth did you hear the engine is from Italy? Please get your facts before you spread wrong info.

  • @ivanrho Who cares, its only Germany, DUDE. They have trouble building a fast car anyways, look how small the Porsche is. The god damn Chevy Syclone will tare it up in the 1/4. And a Chevy Monza or a Pontiac Fiero with the same engine of the Chevy Syclone will take its ass to hell and spit the Porsche out in to the Junk-Yard. You really have to look at the Numbers to talk about something being fast. And every Video or article that I look at are saying the Viper is Junk. Fuck Nurburg.

  • @1BlubeTube Who cares it's only Germany? Don't know what car magazine you're reading but a 14 mile plus track called the Nurburgring is where only super cars can compare themselves to. Not your typical 0-60 or 1/4 mile race crap. No, it's steering, braking, aerodynamics, acceleration, handling and power, all those things that race cars made of, is the real test of a sports car. And it's HIGH MPH too, something your typical Subaru or Mistubishi EVO can't do. Viper isn't for everyone; I understand

  • @ivanrho Another thing, and I'm not trying to be rude, if I went and baught a car, paying a lot of money. I don't want it to break-down all the time. Because if that happened, I would be fuck'n pissed and tell the Fucking dealer off and take them to court for breaking the LEMON-LAW. And thats what Chrysler does, and people just take it.

  • @1BlubeTube No car company is without issues or problems. I know of a Viper owner that had to use the Lemon Law to get a new car, but most of the problems were because the dealer didn't handle the issues properly. ALL car companies have similar issues. Look at the Ferrari 458. The cars were catching on fire and burning down. Who plans for that?

  • @ivanrho I looked at some of the Videos on your Channel, evidently you know a thing or two about cars and own some Supercars . Therefore, I can't see why you would stick up for a company that builds junk cars like the Viper. Maybe you have the money and/or knowledge to fix a car like that all the time. Thats even if you baught a Viper in the first place. I know I would be making or have my own cars made for speed.

  • @1BlubeTube I bought my 1st Viper in 1994. I bought my 2nd Viper in 1996. I bought my 3rd Viper in 2004. And owned all of them for a long time. It's a car that I fell in love with when I was in the Chicago Auto Show in 1990. Sure back then Chrysler cars were junk, K car etc, but today, they build great cars so much so that Fiat bout the majority interest in that company. Oh, Fiat owns Ferrari and Maserati too, and now between the different companies, there will be shared technology.

  • it must be boring driving that slow in those cars lol

  • i like the kid in passenger seat of ford gt he prob eggi his dad on

  • fORD GT A SUPERCAR FOR MEN

  • Ford GT for EVER!

  • is that in florida?

  • @MrToyotaVVTi Yes it is, heading north on the Turnpike from Homestead.

  • @N9athan just so u know ford didnt stop making the ford gt because of poor sales. It was a limited production vehicle. The ford GTX-1 will destroy any corvette or viper!!

  • Want some lol

  • I like the ford powerstroke behind you better

  • @kkkkkyleunit1 Yea, that was our friend too.

  • @kkkkkyleunit1 u shouldnt it the 6.0 the 7.3 is better

  • Vipers were always made in limited numbers compared to corvettes or most other cars. Experts at the Barrett & Jackson auto auctions recently said vipers with eventually increase in value as they are no longer produced.

It was a rather unique car - a reincarnation of the old AC Cobra's we all love!

  • they don't even make the viper anymore... that says a lot about how the car sold and how the company as a whole has been doin lately...

  • @ilovemyford09 They made Vipers for 19 years. Now that Fiat owns Chrysler, they are redesigning the Viper for the next launch. Ford GT? Yes they made it on a few years. What do you think about that? LOL.

  • @ivanrho i don't see your point. they replaced the gt with a lighter, faster, more agile car, aka the GT500. i think that's a company that learns from mistakes and improves their vehicles instead of making the same thing over and over for nearly two decades. after all, the definition of insanity is repetition with the expectation of different results. dodge is gonna be owned by a foreign car company because they couldn't do well enough on their own. what do you think about that?

  • @ilovemyford09 Are you dreaming or smoking. The GT500 never replaced the Ford GT and never came close to the performance numbers. Go look up the stats yourself. I do like the new GT500 but it's nothing close the Ford GT. BTW, look up the Fastest Nurburgring lap times and tell me what production car had the quickest lap. Yes, a Viper ACR. The Ford GT? no where close. You must own a GT500 and think that's the best thing on the earth. Please brother...

  • @ilovemyford09 And about a foreign company which owns Chrysler...Well, how about this.......How about China owning most of the United States now due to debt, or how Japanese companies owning the majority of the high dollar real estate in New York, LA, and other major cities. Fiat who also owns Ferrari must have seen something in Chrysler to buy a controlling interest. Tell me, how old are you? Just a question because you're obviously lost in the world economy. Sorry to be so blunt.

  • @ilovemyford09 BTW, the Ford GT is one of my favorite cars of all time. Many of my friends own them and at my event, Top Gun Run, I was very happy to see a TT Ford GT set the world record for the standing mile at 253 MPH. I enjoy all cars and call it as it is, but I won't pounce on other brands because I own 1 of them. My daily driver is a Toyota Prius. I get 52 MPH with AC. More than my Harley Fatboy. If you were married to Angelie Jolie, you wouldn't think Megan Fox was beautiful. Please...

  • @ilovemyford09 - I might be misunderstanding you but did you say the GT500 is lighter and more agile than the Ford GT? I hope not... The GT only weighs 3300lbs, as the GT500 weighs 3700+lbs. And the GT is way more agile than the GT500. It out handles it, out runs it, and just plain and simple is better in everyway.

  • @ivanrho fiat doesnt exactly own chrysler

  • @ilovemyford09 if we were to use that logic the Gt wasn't a good car either because they don't make it and ford isn't doing to well in contrast gm is doing great because they have been making the corvette since the 50s... sound like good logic?

  • @ilovemyford09 Ummm, sorry but you're wrong. They are working on the 2012 Viper now, with 700 HP. Due out in July 2012.

  • @ivanrho yes...it is true. only 50 vipers will be made..they will be called the ''the final line''..

  • @ivanrho Hopefully the 2012 Viper looks cool like the 1996 Viper GTS. Otherwise, I'm not as much a fan of the look of the newer models.

  • @Dreaklock

    Same here.

That's why I own a 2002 Viper - last year of the 2nd Generation Viper, has all the sexy lines you want.

  • @ilovemyford09 They don't even make a Ford GT anymore. Viper at least lasted to 2010.

  • @regnal88 Maybe because viper is cheaper then the gt + The ford gt was a limited addition .

  • @ilovemyford09 not true. 50 vipers will come out in 2012 called the final line. than the production will stop..the reason is there is a new law coming out recquiering all wehicles to have a traction control...which viper does not have..that is why they will stop making them.

  • @ilovemyford09 yea they are working on them again. Also the reason why they stopped making them is because they didnt have traction control and it was being forced upon every street car by the government. So how about you not talk until you know what your talking about.

  • @ilovemyford09 well it was one damn ugly car lolol

  • @ilovemyford09 they stopped production of the viper because of the new government regulation that all cars have to have traction control. plus they are making a new one.

  • @ilovemyford09 they quit for one or two years so they could make it an even bigger beast bra

  • @ilovemyford09 I wished I could've said it like that first, words were never better typed, so right.

  • god i LOVE the Ford GT & Viper SRT10; they are such sexy cars..

  • @thevettedude: The Viper ACR comes from factory DOT street legal tires for the track. When I said stock it really is 100% stock. The ZR1 doesn't come w those tires but it comes with Carbon Brakes from the Enzo!! No one is complaining about that cause those brakes are factory stock.

  • ambos autos son unas bellezas pero el ford es la cuspide

  • that kid in the GT is so lucky

  • Yeah how come you didn`t record that part then

  • thats it!!? i want my min back!!

  • Yes, I knew him. We were leaving Homestead. After I shut off the video, we played a little on the highway. I left the Ford GT like it was standing still. The Viper has over 700 HP from a Supercharger.

  • Your Viper may have beat him in the straight, but no way will the Viper take that GT in the corners

  • Ummm, No, sorry. Stock vs Stock, the Viper ACR is the fastest production car EVER at the Nurburgring track in Germany. Faster than the Bugatti, Enzo, GTR, ZR1, 430, 599, Carrera GT, Ford GT. You name it; if you don't believe me, do a Google Seach. Funny thing, it's the least expensive of all cars listed above.

  • ACR yes, SC Viper no. you said "I smoked the GT in the SC Viper" my comment was directed toward you in the SC viper. Not the ACR

  • I thought the Ultimate Aero SSC was the fastest...

  • @Ford4Lyfe7

theyre talking about on the nurburgring

  • LOL Didn't see that part.

  • @ivanrho yea but it did have race ready tires the zr1 had stock pos tires and still put up numbers

  • @ivanrho the FASTEST car ever produced is the ssc ultimate aero it is made by shelby so no the viper isnt the fastes car in case you thought it was

  • @ThePlayer956 Hey dumb ass, read what I said about the Viper ACR being the fastest PRODUCTION car to run at Nurburgring. Do you even know where that place is? Learn to read before you write.

  • @ThePlayer956 look im a ford man by heart but the fastest porduction car isnt made by Shelby atleast not the Shelby owned by Carroll Shelby it is another company from Cali but they have no relation to Carroll or use anything from Ford

  • @ivanrho and yes your cheap viper is a v-10 against a v-8 and ur dumb viper still sucks fuck dodge go ford and shelby

  • @ThePlayer956 Ok LOOSER, I'll take my dumb Viper over your Ford Pinto, LOL. Have a good life.

  • @ThePlayer956 Hey mr player, wanna know something?? I enjoy Fords! I own one now and I will always own them. I have always had their F250 HDs and they're nicer than Dodge Rams. So what's your point moron?

  • amazing! did you know him? do you have any american muscle?
