Will you be tabbing any of this? I love the lessons I just have a hard time telling where your fingers are going. I'm trying to just listen but it's difficult with the complexites of the chords.
I would gladly pay for tabbed versions of these lessons. Thanks!
This is really great. I can play along, and build my ideas around the scales/arpeggios you are using and notating at the bottom of the screen. This keeps me from playing the same ideas I might normally play otherwise ;) Well done sir.
hey i dont know how you chose the scales. for exemple why do you play Eb Dorian on key of C? and the others i also dont understand and I cant learn from anywhere good...
And subscribed!!! This was great thanks. When you play, is that how you think? i.e. you think of the scale you want to play before you play it and then you go for it?

@Fruitargeek Usually I don´t think of scales while playing. Most of the time I think in chords. Sometimes I reduce the underlying chords to the basic triads (1,3rd,5th - 7th) and fill the spaces with passing notes of the underlying scales.
really nice video! Too sad that many people don't accept the mastery behind jazz and just say "naaah it's to random for me". Jazz is just so vivid and colourful and to me the greatest style to play
That was tasty. I like how, even though you know all the complex chords, arpeggios and scales, you still throw in a little pentatonic and blues scale stuff.
Great lesson, excellent work, not all Ideas fit well, but the way you explain it is great stuff. Thanks for posting this, I will try to learn altered scales now. Gute Arbeit, Mann, Danke !!!
The standard progression for Blue Bossa is as follows. I've added the 7ths because it's sounds nice but you can mix and match... minor, 6ths, 9ths etc.
Thanks a lot man! I spent a good half hour watching this clip :) where did u get those 2 ebm7/ab7/dbmaj7 patterns from? i really like the one at 4:31. And is the pat martino lick at 4:48 from his version of impressions?
I really like it. Very well done. Although, I honestly don't think it gives the original composition credit at this speed. But then again, it is your interpretation. Very cool anyways. =)

Very good job man, but in the part of Ebm7 Ab7 Dbmaj7 Dbmaj7, you can use this scales:
-pentatonic minor of Bb (Ebm7, is the scale of the 5º of Ebm7)
-pentatonic minor of B (Ab7, is the scale of the relative minor mode (pentatonic) of the b5º of Ab (altered pentatonic scale))
-pentatonic minor of C (Dbmaj7, is the scale of the relative minor mode of the 2º of Db)
You can improvised with this scales.
This scales created a cromatic pass, which the sound that you can listen, is very jazzy
