If you're playing on a plasma TV or something, I reckon with the Wiimote being a rather laggy control to begin with and plasma lag while it isn't impossible to pass this, it's downright unrealistic. I can get up to the speedup sequence and then...it's harder than previous levels also.

It's an LCD, but this is potentially possible that the refresh rate is to blame somewhat.

I actually beat the blue guy though, just not on this track. The second or third was a lot easier.

The wiimote isn't laggy at all. It's just the game is fast and you aren't fast enough.

I didn't mean that literally, I just meant it's implemented in the game in such a way that it's always going to lag, because there's a threshold between upper/lower which flickers madly if you leave it at the mid-height, for example. But point taken, if I was faster it'd work better.

Still, I've only ever played it on my plasma, which I know is laggy.. I'll have to try it on CRT someday.

Your plasma should have a game settings option to turn off a bunch of the advanced processing stuff that makes games laggy even games made in a High def format.

It's an old SD plasma actually. True, modern ones have a game mode, and since the Wii isn't HD it shouldn't affect it, there's no upscaling/downscaling. But it definitely does, and there's no way to eliminate the lag. It only really is noticable on music games or things like tihs.

To be fair to the Wii I should say that this was originally an unreleased arcade game (shown at a TGS I think) with giant levers, so I don't know if the Wiimotes make it easier or harder - less resistance, y'know.

My connection is awesome so it's no big deal. True enough it isn't fun, but the whole routine helps me keep motivated, for you see I decided one day that I would try out every game in my complete romsets once and for all, and I decided to let anyone who wanted to join me do so via youtube.

I really don't care who does or doesn't, and never even expected this many fans, but it happened, and I shall continue until my quest is complete.

In case you didn't notice, the outline on the wall changes color, depending on the position. So if you memorize those, you should be golden.
