I'm afraid to start watching part 2 cause it might break my heart if what I think will ultimately happen to this guy happens....its like American Idol when they do the biography of one of those singers totally oblivious to his awfulness but who is featured in the worst of. Only he's an amateur filmmaker.

I enjoyed the documentary but for people who say that it's touching...you should support the guy, he"tries so hard but keeps getting screwed," etc etc...ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! He basically extorts money out of his uncle, he wastes what little money he has on alcohol, he leeches off his family for a place to live and he commits credit card fraud and doesn't pay his taxes! Seriously? The guy is a loser, Give it all you've got, sure just don't screw over everyone in the process!

I've really wonder why Mark hasn't made Northwestern by now. Because if you look at how much he's been involved with cinema and being famous for American Novie, that he would make it already. Right now he is filming a horro movie called Scar Me, but I just wonder what happened down the road the stopped him from doing it. Mark made, almost in a way, a messege about Northwestern. Maybe he's just waiting for the right time. Maybe it might one of the best movies ever made.

I LOVE this guy (Mark Borchardt), and i LOVE Coven his short film. . Its great getting this documentary on youtube but if you all feel the same as I do then you should buy both Coven and American Movie. It's worth supporting genuine independents rather than giving all our money to wet farts like Michael Bay.
