  • Not a problem. You know, I actually got confused with another T-bolt down on W Maple and Parkridge, about 1/4 mile east of S 119th. I know what you mean about names (e.g. Westport, Westfield, Westlink...etc).

  • @Miriwich You were right! These Thunderbolts hide in the most confusing of places.

  • I live less than 1/4 mile from this T-bolt. The other one heard is about 1 1/2 miles away at W 13 Street and Parkridge, about a half mile west of N Maize Road.

  • @Miriwich Ah, I knew there had to be another one nearby! Plus, that siren is on Parkdale. These communities always use similar street names. Thanks for letting me know!

  • Another Thunderbolt 1000T is heard winding back up at the end of the video where is that located

  • @garyhstorms10 I believe it is 4 miles (give or take) southwest of this siren at about 12466 West 4th Street North in Wichita, Kansas.

  • classic. nice vid!

  • @amtrak3501 Thank you!

  • Nice, i find myself quite interested in these things. It must be the sound, over long distances, that feels quite eery.

  • @Duckie4112 I live right down the street from one of these beasts and it sounds so eerie. But then you realize you are in danger of a tornado, then you run for your life to the basement.

  • Sounds like it's set on chopper level 3.

  • @LouisvilleTorn8o You sound right.
