Wonderful tribute to some great racehorses. As for the question of what racehorse is the "greatest" of all time, there are so many variables it is really hard to say. If you look at race times at equal distances, Secretariat is the greatest ever. I don't count the European turf horses in any debate about "the greatest". Bring the Euro-horses to the USA, and let's see how they like the dirt. Just about every horse out there is related to Man O' War or Native Dancer or Bold Ruler.

Man O War only lost that race because as he was loading into the gate the race already started so he was far behind but he still came in a very very close second
@megadogtor By the way you put it shouldn't that race be declared void then? that must be the biggest fix if theres such a thing, they couldn't beat him so played dirty instead
but i also read that he won by over 100 lengths but where is the concrete evidence for this, i think i understand it was a 2 horse race and the other runner was bollocks so thats hardly a contest then is it

RIP barbaro <3 i loved that horse and eight belles was beautiful. I heard she broke down to incest breeding. I could be wrong but its a shame regardless. RIP many beautiful horses who gave their soul to their riders and the track
