  • i wish i was him i would be like thats

  • great i loved this...can you do drake's forever i like the piano when it comes to waynes and eminems part but i cant do it

  • pure talent!!

  • wack ass quantized drums, wack ass track shit. owning a mpc doesn't make you a pro, dude

  • 2:39-2:44 IS THE GREATEST THING EVER!!! how much did that piano cost?

  • I LOVE U SO MUCH RIGHT NOW...I WAS ALWAYS TRYIN TO FIGURE OUT THAT HOW SHE DID THAT LITTLE SOUND RIGHT BEFORE THE CHORUS ENDS ON THE PIANO THANKS MAN!!!!!

  • jheezeee this guy is too much :)

  • love the setup you got there, very neat and simple. a midi keyboard and pads is all you really need for basic production

  • urs is better than the original imo

  • Do all your sounds come out of your pc or your mpc or your rack?

  • @TheMjsProductions Drums and percussion from the MPC... the rest of the instruments from the Motif-Rack.

  • sick. how do you make that voice tag?

  • WoW, vey very cool. But how do You get this audio line instead of midi track? thanks

  • Fuking dope!

  • whats that rack you have there?

  • @TheRealDirtySwagRec Yamaha Motif-Rack ES

  • what software is that on your screen?

  • @CasaProductions1 Adobe Audition

  • @djepisode how does it work with an mpc? I'm thinking about buying an mpc 1000 or an mpc 2000xl and I also want to connect it to my computer.

  • @CasaProductions1 It doesn't. I just use Audition to record audio into my computer.

  • @djepisode so you have your mpc plugged in to your computer?

  • what kinda soft are you using?

  • Yo that was sick. I want to get into music production and was wondering is it necessary to learn how to play the piano in order to make sick beats and such? do you know how to play piano?

  • Can you quantize sounds coming into the MPC from a rack or keyboard?

  • @MatthewMatthematic Yes, you can quantize the incoming midi notes to the MPC sequencer.

  • @djepisode Awesome and can you do the same with audio? Also, does this work with MPC 1000, MPC 2000xl, etc.?

  • Thats some good shit bro, keep it up.

  • sick setup

  • very good video. easy to follow. you know your mpc1000? is it a sampler or drum machine or both?

  • Damn your amazing! I want that MPC! :D

  • Your beat is very great!

I'd like to work with a mpc 1000 and a m-audio oxygen 61 (third Generation) but I have little problem. So my question is, how can I connect my MPC 1000 via midi with my Oxygen 61 which has only a USB port?

I hope you or someone else can help me...

    Thanks in advance!

  • @CarloBerlin89 Are you sure it only comes with a USB port? They might've only given you a USB cable, but the Oxygen is a midi keyboard, so they should've given you at least a port, if not the midi cable. Anyway, once you get a midi cable you go MIDI OUT from the keyboard to the MIDI IN of the mpc. You should then be able to control the notes and samples from your MPC from your keyboard. Hope this helps.

  • @djepisode

    thank you,

but it has only a usb port... I should lok for another midi-keyboard which is really a MIDI keyboard.^^

  • @CarloBerlin89 .. I have a MPC !00 as well and i ma about to get the M AUDIO OXYGEN 61 "3rd version " as well...

but i ws wondering the same thing...??? how can i control reason or Ableton with my keyboard and than have those sounds transferred into my mpc...???

the keyboard itself only has a usb and " sustain c35 plug " whatever that means...???

so i myself am alittle troubled...???

if anyone can help and shed light on our situation PLEASE DO...!!!

    thank you very much...

  • @Rocism01

I think we should use our computers as sound moduls, because with our M-Audio Oxygens 61s we only control the DAW... So we create the sounds on our computers which are controlled by the Oxygen 61 and transfer them into our MPC 1000s using a audio/midi Interface... (for example this one the EIE from Akai...)

That's what I think today. I hope it helps you.

  • @CarloBerlin89 I don't think you understand that I'm primarily using hardware, as all my sounds are coming from the Motif-Rack. The only software aspect of the my setup is the recording software, primarily used to get better audio for my videos. Notice no other background noises (i.e. dog barks, phone ringing, etc.). In fact, I could shoot video without recording into the computer, just using the built in camera mic, but the audio quality isn't even half as good as recording directly to the pc.

  • @djepisode

I naturally understand that your using primarily hardware and that your sounds are coming from the motif-rack. (I'm not stupid...;-))

What I said to @Rocism01 wasn't adressed to you...

  • @Rocism01

yo bro here is your answer...watch this video and u should be str8...

  • what program?

  • @mikeponthebeat To record on my computer: Adobe Audition.

  • Yo your beat is on point!!!!!....Great job

  • Damn, sounds great.

  • how are you running this into adobe? Midi ? i have that same oxygen .. and i have a mpc 500.. i am trying to make it so i can run the mpc like this and record sounds on midi threw vst's.. any way you can tell me how to do so ?

  • @CeSektion The MPC and Motif audio are running in through a mixer, and from the mixer, the audio is running out into the input on my soundcard on my computer.

  • @djepisode how do you get the clicking out of the recording then ? the metronome is recorded into the sounds you record isnt it ? when i got my set up this is all i wanted to do... record live on cool edit and have it loop like your doing but i cant seem to make it work.

  • @CeSektion Actually, there's some arranging of the song "behind-the-scenes" that I'm not showing. The metronome clicking occurs on recording, but not on playback, which is what I'm showing at the end of the video.

  • @djepisode ok i understand now... your just making the small loops then going back and editing and regrouping them to form the over-all song... thanks man very helpful.. you are a genius .. i understand why you wouldn't put that into the video it wouldn't be that entertaining. really enjoy your video's they are a big help.

  • @CeSektion Yup, exactly. I guess the focus of my videos are to show the individual instrument & drum tracks, and how they mix together to create the final song.

  • u are recording also the clip in the hit hat, you are totally a niubee.

FUCK you got an mpc 2500 and u can use the sequencer or use it by an internal sequencer.

  • do u need fl studio 9 or sonar 8 cuz i got um. u got sum exclusive equipment but audition's quality just isn't so hot

  • could you PLEASE make a video showing how u hav ur studio hooked up. i mean like showing how u have it going straight 2 the pc and monitors and like that

  • its off

  • cool

  • what mpc do u got ? MPC 4000?

  • @WasupCalifornia That one's the 2500.

  • Wow nice job man!!!

  • strong!!!fire burn

  • a real nice job

  • very nice :)

  • NICE

    5*!!!!!!

  • is Adobe Audition the only program you used to do all this?

  • how do u make the voice wen you say dj epidsode?

  • load of shit

  • I got my Motif ES...not the rack but the actual ES6...this is dope as fuck, I feel my setup is fucking with yours....We are actually equals when it comes to setups...LOL...but yeah this video is ill as fuck how you put that shit together, you make a nigga proud to own a MPC

  • how much did u get the beat maker machine for?

  • what program are you recording o?

  • @enemycitytv Adobe Audition

  • how would i connect an MPC to FLstudio 8

  • Nice mayn! May I ask from where you got the horns? Sounds very dope!

  • very nice. thumbs up

  • This is really nice. I give 5 starz.

Btw, I've got a question. Did you link motif rack to your oxygene? Or you linked it to your soundcard?

  • Thanks for the love. Oxygen midi out to the MPC midi in; then MPC midi out to the Motif midi in. That way I can record what I'm playing into my MPC.

  • @djepisode

Oh ok ;) I don't have MPC, but If I connect motif rack to a midi out of my hardware soundcard, could I play any sounds with the oxygen? (In Ableton for example)

  • Yes, you should be able to. Then you'll be able to record your sequences through Ableton.

  • @djepisode

Thanks ;) Btw, I have a Korg PadKontrol, maybe I could do just like you with your mpc. I'll see, anyway, thanks for info. Keep making beats man. Peace

  • @djepisode So when I buy my Motif I just go Motif Midi Out to MPC Midi In or Midi Out MPC to Motif In

  • Friend the sounds of the battery also can be done with the keyboard? and as I put the metronome

  • Tight Remake

  • sehr geil!

    mach weiter so!

  • can u please share the piano tab for the chorus piano its really hard to see wat u hit on the screen by the way this is the best remake vid of this song on utube

  • nice man..!!

  • nice but why waste time on someone else track ! make ur own ! u get more for it !

  • sick
