This is one GREAT quartet. I'm a trumpeter and pianist and have been a big fan of Bill Mays and Marvin Stamm for many years -- two of the greatest jazz musicians out there. Marvin Stamm is a great ballad player. His sound on this recalls Jack Sheldon's sound and playing on the soundtrack of The Sandpiper....so romantic and saying so much with a few notes. Yeh...Mr Stamm!
