Regrettably the same thing happened to my '94 Sammy. People just stood around a had a laugh while it slowly sank to the bottom. Then someone tossed me a line and I got pulled out. I drove her 20 miles or so home, but due to the ECM being wet the truck didn't start again for some time. (Not until I could find a new control module from Japan) Live and learn.
funny thing is, all he needs to do is change his oils and filters and she'll be good as new :D except for electrical stuff haha
