Shoaib was certainly the fastest ever i would say! To break the 100mpn barrier is unreal yet he still done that! However in regards to the greatest fast bowler ever I would say it was perhaps one of the West Indies greats like Holding. I don't think you can put Shoaib in the same category of the 3 other names.

Whilst he was extremely fast at his peak, he didn't have the accuracy as someone like Jeff Thomson which made his less potent than he should've been.

Shoaib has bowled some quality deliveries for sure but his consistency wasn't/isn't up there with Imran, Waqar & Wasim.

Mohammed Sami was good for a period and Asif was good til people found out he's a drugs cheat.
