  • @17ledhead Hey, theyre having fun and thats all that matters. come on man

  • that's what our waves are like too. i have a picture where it looks like im just standing in the middle of the ocean...no wave. it was at the end tho...

    so nice.

  • What's up with the Nazi coments?!!! Anyway, cool vid. Some of my favorite surf memories are from New Jersey. That shot with the dolphins at around 7:30 is so cool!

When I think of NJ, I think of *steep* takeoffs and short barreling waves. This vid shows a nice longboarding side though. Maybe this is south Jersey? I only know from like Island Beach State Park up to Spring Lake.

  • hahaha love the nj shores. Bayhead being my spot. Nothing to huge, but there's nothing like getting up on a Saturday at 6:30 and riding my bike to the beach for some surf.

  • nj is so weakk

  • @burnr301 you obviously have not been there on a goood day. jew

  • @burnr301 Yeah you jew

  • arent yall muthafuckas cold

  • @allupinyourgrillxxx it's the summer why would they be cold?

  • small summer waves in nj with a longboard can be really fun

  • best things bout new jersey surfing(if u like small wave surfing) waves r easy to catch and you can go pretty far out to ride them in farther, new jersey is my fav

  • whats better for these waves long board or shortboards

  • it depends if your good enough go on a shortboard but if not a longboard you should know by your own skill at my local spot we go out on 6:3 or 5:10 shortboards whatever the size 6ft or 1/2 ft

  • ye i really want a 6'8 funbpard by nsp

  • I would suggest getting a shortboard shape because turning and other thiings are limited on a funboard

  • nsp is crap i had one.....

    there too buoyant

  • Sure- I'm sure you'd have a blast on those knee high peelers on your 6' potato chip. Give me a break- use what works for the conditions and have some fun.

  • potato chip? hahahaha

  • lmao potato chip

  • wtf u put T pain in a surf video?

  • awful stuff.maybe you should try rollerskating,or roasting marshmallows.anything but surfing.please.thank you for your help.

  • u go right every time!!!but everyone cut the kid some slack hes not trying to prove nothing hes just surifng for the fun in the summer so stop ur btiching and talkin about surifng in february during the ill waves!

  • first of all long boards are the best lol.. and there making the most of the waves they got give em a break...

  • think again kook

  • 1:37..same boardshorts!!

  • small waves are the best but seriously, get a real board.

  • ?whatya mean?

  • I mean, not a long board.

  • since when was a longboard not a real board?? lol they started

surfing on longboards lol but w/e

  • yeah thats right. the real boards were never under seven foot, but it evolved into smaller and faster boards,so saying longboards arnt real boards is mad ignorant. a short board wouldnt really be much fun on the size of those waves...you tell em=]

  • this sucks try surfing real waves man

  • wow try going out when ur 13 in 8 fts man small waves suck

  • yea how bout u get off a bodyboard and surf at 13 in the middle of february on 10 foot nor easter swell

  • yo were in NJ is this? i live up near sandy hook.. waves r shit their.

  • haha i can surf that on a short board

  • looks fun though

  • i honestly hope you surf bigger waves than this

  • awful song,awful surfing-summer people suck.go back to philly!

  • i always surf and boogy board in NJ on little waves, we always cut the waves like 20 feet b4 the wave turns into crap

  • u mean body board

  • no offense but in makes the sport sound so gay when people refer to it as boogie boarding

  • i agree

  • what the fuck

  • that wuz sick.

the music wuz pretty gnarly 2!

    AMEN

  • little waves r so fucking fun... u can pull off the best shit..

  • amen to that

  • actually i prefer a little bigger waves, but still fun

My friends and I surfed days like this at the same beaches in the 80's. They were some of the beast times.

    aloha,

    from

    Kailua Hawaii

  • if people in this vid or anywhere wanted to come to the great california state...they would have been there by now... duh duh duh durrrrhhh dur duh durh

  • cool vid.... u new jersey people should come to california

  • yea california's cool ive been there a few times, good waves, where ru from?

  • its too crowded.

  • the kid with the blue fosters board

  • was this in oc????? thats were i go

  • when were you down in oc? i was there this summer and i saw a few days like that, maybe we were there at the same time

  • i spend a lot of time down there during the summers i live right in delaware so its not a problem driving down. most of it was in mid july, some was in early june and early august and the really foggy days were in october. maybe ill c u there next year. cya.

  • And btw i've surfed some of the "best" waves around the world including some world class surf in Costa Rica but in my opinion i feel that new jersey has the best variety and quality of waves i hav ever surfed.

  • btw what beach is that?

  • its a few mostly 8th street tho i love the lefts that come off the jetty there, best waves in south jersey in my opinion. but some of it on the other side of the jetty at 7th, but there was a nasty little sandbar there over the summer that messed the break up a lot. and some of it is down in the gardens by the north street jetty. most of it is in Ocean City but there is some in Sea Isle City too. aroun 56th street.

  • small waves in nj ftw people judge nj but they dont know it at all

  • sweet

  • with the foster's board, see you in Sea Girt A lot

  • wat ru saying??

  • never mind, i know the kid in your vid

  • which kid cause i am the kid in the video?

  • ameatures

  • ok lets see u get up on a board

  • calm down soccerpro(?) surfings tough but there isnt anything going on in the video and new jersey has a little bit more to offer than there waves

  • nice
